Thank you, ive never even attempted to break a law and just took my civil service test. I didnt want this little mistake to screw me, like i said, NJ is so vague and tries its hardest to screw gun owners, i didnt know what to think or do....

Thanks Macbeth. That's what I was thinking but with nj you never know. The law DID work and I didn't buy more than 1 in 30 days. So what law could I have broken? Is there an intent law? I don't think there is.

I decided to be proactive since my stomach was in my throat with nervousness and couldn't sit around and wait for a phone call. I called the firearms inv unit at the SP and spoke with a sgt. He said they haven't prosecuted anyone yet for it and not to worry to much about it. I would still be getting a call from another officer within the next 30 days and to basically explain the accident and he'll tell me just not to do it again. He also said I can re run the nics when my 30 days is up and I should be fine. Man I was sweating. I guess nj laws work at making the legal, law abiding (except for this mistake lol) sweat and to scare them...

F me. Prosecutors? Really would go that far?

So yea I know a dumby. I messed up my dates and only had 25 days when I went to buy a new handgun today... As you could imagine nics got rejected. Where do I go from here? Lady said I should be getting a call from SP. What should I expect? It was an honest mistake and now I'm actually scared I might have screwed up bad... any input?

So I haven't been playing much on the poker side. But they sent me a free $5 to use on the casino section. I had some time to kill so I played for a few hours on some penny slots. I'd go with frog lube. Yea its a PIA the first time but you dont have to reapply for a veryyyy long time. Just wipe it down and run some patches through and your GTG!
