  1. The problem is if you are a fan of a team they are playing, have played, used to play, no longer play or a team that no longer exists or Santa Claus. And it doesn't go for football only. 90% is a low number
  2. Just got an email from petitioner. Just reached 10,000. https://www.change.org/p/chris-christie-governor-christie-allow-concealed-carry-of-firearms-for-self-defense/u/14236706?tk=Z2r3ByrJM362nC8o2-HcMFmpOTuIsjDZTofMBDr3-gA&utm_source=petition_update&utm_medium=email
  3. No problem. By the way, I just picked up a set of GT 500 exhaust last weekend. Took me long enough to find a set local now I need to get them on the car.
  4. This what you were looking for 1Lt? http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/topic/45037-let-your-voice-be-heard-contact-your-representatives/?view=findpost&p=593535&hl=addiego
  5. Did I miss something here? Where does it say that I should stop my car and surrender to some guy running down the street In his underwear or pajamas, waving and firing a gun at me, just because he says he's a police officer. Was he wearing his unform at 2am? Have his badge strapped on his PJ's? I'm not stopping either, especially after he started shooting at me.
  6. So since I did the online criminal history check and submitted the mental health form and the sts033 form and my references emailed me to say they sent their references back, what are the odds on getting my permits in under the 3 months they told me it would take??
  7. Posted this in another thread. It's a better fit here Just dropped off paperwork in Evesham on July 20 for 2 P2P. Was told it takes about 3 months and don't call us, we'll call you. Evesham was a lot quicker than this a few years ago. Same civilian handling the paperwork. They said his desk is loaded with applications. No wonder it takes 3 months. Guess I'll start calling on day 31

  9. Wow. That'll leave a mark. Looked like sergeant stripes on her sleeve too
  10. I never would have filled that form out. Your wife has the right to object and/or disagree with you and kick your butt for owning a firearm. But what business is that of the Cherry Hill police department? Is it also her right according to Cherry Hill to let her object to you owning a car or kitchen knife set? Yes/no answers as to whether she wants to prevent the permits. I'd follow Pizza Bobs advice and contact the NJSP.
  11. http://6abc.com/news/crews-battle-forest-fire-in-burlington-county/702977/ perfect example of poor stewardship was last week in Wharton State Forest..The article said the area has not burned since 1920 or 1930. Burns are essential to clear the dense forest floor and allow new growth.
  12. I took a 7 year old there to shoot a couple of years ago. No questions asked. I just made sure to be right there to control things. 1 shot at a time. No sense fully loading and running any risk.
  13. Like most have already told you, it is going to be the jackass who doesn't even know you're anywhere near them. In 10 years of riding, I probably had about 10 to 15 incidents with other drivers. Anywhere from them making a left turn in front of me from the right lane, to someone not realizing they were in a left turn only lane and continuing straight through the intersection. And these were all during "pleasure" rides. Not too pleasurable. Again as someone mentioned, it's not if you're going to lay the bike down, it's when. All compounded by the fact that most soccer moms in their oversized SUV's are more intent on talking or texting or watching what their kids are doing in the back seat. Either way, be safe. Keep the rubber side down.
  14. I've had a few people tell me about the deals they got at Koons. I didn't know it existed until I found the car listed on their Autotrader ad. Can't go wrong with either place ,IMO.
  15. Try Miller Ford over in Lumberton on Rt. 38. I originally went in there with a true and they had no problem honoring the price. I eventually took a long ride to Koons in Sterling Va, to get my 2014. It was almost $2500 less than truecar local
  16. I got my oil changed on Monday on my 2014 GT. Medford Ford had a few 2015's on the lot. There was an Ecoboost there. I think it was white. May have been 2 on the lot ( possibly sterling grey). OP, looks like you're in Cherry Hill. Medford Ford is on 70 in Medford. One of the cars sticker showed $34k. they are in the holding lot off to the side near the service area
  17. Done OG. I hope everything works out for her.
  18. Shame to lose a local guy. I haven't been in Mikes in a while, but a friend of mine goes in there every once in a while. As long as you don't have any breathing problems cause Mike keeps the place smoke filled. He always has a cigarette going from what I remember.
  19. I used this guy in Moorestown a couple of years ago. Very reasonable. At that time total cost was $18. Give him a call. http://fflgundealers.net/gerards-guns.html
  20. I had the same experience at Range 14. I was watching a guy at a bench siting his Garand. We started talking and he asks if I would take a few shots with it. He said he wasn't sure if the rifle or him that was off. First time I fired a Garand. He must have been having a bad day, rifle looked dead on to me. I wonder if it's the same guy and he just likes having others experience what he enjoys.
  21. Thats true. I feel the same way. Make sure you have everything you need to go down range when a cease fire is called. God forbid you left your clean target or stapler at the bench. Cease fires last about 10 minutes. It could be longer if someone is down at the 200 yd marker setting up their targets or they have set up staggered distances. By the time the cease fire is done and the range is open, you get to shoot for about 15 or 20 minutes and then another cease fire. Basically you're getting 2 20 minutes firing sessions per hour. If I go alone to the range I usually get at least 2 hours. If you have more people at your table you'll need more time. All in all, for the membership fee and $8 for 2 hours, I shouldn't be complaining.
  22. I can only imagine the stress on you and your family. Keep in mind that there are many who stand with you. Last night, at Madison Square Garden, there was a moment of silence. The national anthem was supported by the NYPD honor guard. The crowd there voiced their appreciation for the NYPD. What you all do matters to many of us and then there is the other side. I can understand your wife's fears. I don't know of a way to convince her not to worry. The best way is for you to be vigilant and come home every night.Merry Christmas to you and your family.
  23. To HE, BLF and all the LEO's, Stay safe and thank you for all you do. I have a father in law who is a retired NYPD, and a WWII vet, who is going to be 92 soon. I respect the hell out of that man and what he has been through. This has been a tough week, but my thoughts go out to all the LEO, and wish them and their families a happy holiday. Enjoy your families guys.
