  1. Different brands had different prices, but I remember a box being 7.99/ 20rounds. Not terrible. Keep an eye on cabelas I got some herters and wpa for 5.99 a box last week
  2. Was at tips hardware earlier today, shelves pretty full off ammo. 1 brick limit on 22, had standard and high velocity for $39 a brick, 2 box limit on handgun rounds, and plenty of 223, 308, and 7.62x54r. Added bonus they had plenty of ARs on display for sale including a Kris Vector and a treat from Armalite up top that i dont recall seeing there in the past. Paid normal price for the handgun rounds, $22 /box of 50 40s&w
  3. Heritage in Raritan treated me right, took the time to show inventory and highlight pros/cons of each weapon. Great selection of new and used guns. Prices were pretty good too.
  4. Ive used several of the Primary Arms red dots and currently have one attached to my AK variant. They are well built and you will be quite happy as they do hold zero and take abuse well. They certainly arent eotech, but im highly satisfied for a budget item. And despite my use of eotech and aimpoints, for a red dot im going to stick with primary arms until i build i a higher end AR.
  5. tips in tuckerton had a few last time i was there, as well as dicks in manahawkin
  6. I know heritage guild and others will offer repairs under a warranty, but most have a pretty solid all sales final stance. Worse case try getting in touch with the maker of the firearm.
  7. knowledgeable and a good conversation, item as described and worked within my schedule.
  8. Met on my terms, quick sale, nice guy. Happy shooting.
  9. Thats the gray area no-one really walks or take a risk on i believe. Some of the more well versed members may want to chime in on this one, but youll already have a pistol grip so the second "evil feature" risk is a biggie. Will it be pinned and permanent, yes, but is it still threaded, yes. All it takes is one person to misinterpret and your up shits creek
  10. no problem. hope its useful
  11. You can find unconverted saigas for about 800 right now (about 400 overpriced but still) and convert them legally for about 200 or less. Do ot yourself man
  12. The brake will have to be pinned/welded as well. Threads are a no-go on the barrel. Otherwise you should be ok as the ad list it as import compliant (922r). But at that price, you might want to look around for a saiga thats unconverted and do the conversion yourself. You wouldnt have to worry about the threaded barrel and you could still put a brake on it if preffered.
  13. smooth transaction, dealt with my crazy work schedule to meet
