what twist?

Am I right in the assumption the 55gr is a little light for the 1/7 twist and I would get a little more accuracy from a heavier bullet.

I generally use bulk 55gr ammo for my AR with a 1/7 twist. Want to try a heavier 62gr to see if accuracy improves but it seems all the 62gr ammo I see is green tip. Question one is, is all 62gr green tip and two, is it jersey legal.

This is just beginning! We haven't even gotten into the legalities or permit issues yet.

Also need to anticipate a meteor strike.

Although I don't agree with 1/4" plywood I agree with RayRay. You are way over thinking this. Bulk of weight will be over bearing wall.

1/2” is fine. If you give me the clear span of the attic floor joists I can give you an idea of the load you can put up there. Like avb said the span is more important than flooring material.

At what distances are you using it. Hoping to use it between 25-200yds.

Looking for recommendations for a prism scope. Right off I will say a Trijicon ACOG is out of my price range. The two I have narrowed it down to are the Primary Arms 5x36 gen II with ACSS reticle which I'm leaning towards, and the sightmark wolfhound 6x44. Both have some pretty good reviews but most from merchants. I have no PA products but I have a sightmark ultra shot reddot I've had some issues with. Anyone have some practical experience with either one of these scopes or the quality of the company. Opinions on other brands welcome.

Didn’t mean any disrespect only that I see all the different opinions you get. As tradesman I know it’s sometimes hard to give advice without seeing the job.

This thread should be deleted. The concept people adopting children to raise the numbers of a group interest is absurd. As a parent of 3 adopted children (adopted as infants, grown adults now) this seems as bad as people becoming foster parents just for the government checks. And to brainwash kids, adopted or not, into becoming gun advocates, or any other special interest advocates seems sick. What's next, if it turns out they don't agree with you they get sent back? I have to ask, did you raise your kids to think only your way? I know I raised mine to think for themselves, consider all points of view and decide whats best for them. They turned out great and fortunately enjoy shooting. I know I'll probably get some grief over this post but this thread just struck a cord with me.

Yes they have the indicator that changes color when needing a charge. I'm in the safe at least once a week so noticing when it changes shouldn't be an issue. I'm planning on 2 for a 24 gun safe.

I have no electric in the safe either and not crazy about drilling. Are you talking about eva dry packets in the ammo boxes? What I was referring to was a thing that looks like a smoke detector. When its full you plug it in to recharge it.

Anyone use the EVA-DRY safe dehumidifier? If so how good is it? Other recommendations? Safe is in the garage and I only have ammo in it. Although I have no experience with them, not crazy about the idea of using one of those heating rods.
