  1. Sold Looking to consolidate a lot of spare ammo that I have laying around. I have 2,000 rounds of Federal 45auto 230grain FMJ. They are stored in boxes of 50. Online retailers have it listed around $1,400.00 however I'm willing to sell the whole lot for $1,100.00 (essentially 400 rounds free). I'm located in south jersey in Voorhees. A valid FPID + matching DL is required per state law. first to post “I’ll take it” gets the sale.
  2. Thanks iCarry. I figured most of it would be common sense simply from the couple example questions they provide.
  3. I recently applied to take the upcoming LEE exam, and I've never taken a civil service test before. All of my professors at Rowan highly suggest taking as many as possible, so I figured this would be a great start. I just have a couple questions: I received an email confirming my payment and my registration to take the test; however, there was nothing about when/where the test will be. I'm aware that I selected a preferred testing location, but is this something I should expect to receive in the mail closer towards the closing date? What should I expect/study for going into the exam? I'm heading into my senior year at Rowan as a Law and Justice major so I know a good deal about law enforcement (and most of the situational stuff), but are there any online resources I could use to study for this type of exam? Has anyone here ever gained employment from this type of civil service test, and do you have any tips or knowledge of what to expect? any information would be greatly appreciated!
  4. It's a great article, and it's nice to see someone who was once a NJ judge to agree with pro 2A people.
  5. Holding your "package" is key in that stance.
  6. The Glock 22 was my first purchase as well. Such a great and reliable gun.
  7. Thanks guys. I'm only looking to reload .40 s&w, and I will surely be looking into those books mentioned.
  8. I'm looking to get into reloading to cut down the costs of shooting my glock 22, and I have a couple questions about the whole process. I've spent the last couple days watching videos and reading up on the subject, but I want to make sure that I have it down correctly before I go out and purchase everything. This is what I have on my radar as of right now: Lee single stage press - http://www.midwayusa.com/product/807734/lee-reloader-single-stage-press Lee carbide 4-die set .40 s&w - http://www.midwayusa.com/product/280965/lee-carbide-3-die-set-40-s-and-w-10mm-auto Past that I'm quite clueless. I have plenty of brass, but I don't know which kind of primers I would need, and is their a certain powder? Other than the obvious .40 caliber, any specific type of bullets? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. The first glaring reason would be the 25 round magazine. It would need to be pinned to hold 15 rounds. Other than that, I don't see anything making it illegal here. But I'm no expert so don't quote me :-p
  10. I've never shot a Glock 17, or Glock 19... however, I do own a Glock 22 and haven't noticed any recoil problems.
  11. Excuse my ignorance, but where exactly would someone find out/register for these tests?
  12. I took a short video of the event and put it on facebook, but im unsure how to post it (im clearly a new member here). but the event was remarkable. The turn out was much better than 300 people, but regardless of what the liberal media wants to report.. we need to bring more heat.
