We'll today I went and picked up the wasr 10. It has almost perfect wood and double stack with minimal mag wobble. All the rivets were properly installed. The ffl stated that it's a 2013 build and that all of Century wasr10s are "new" wood and double stack. I'm impressed so far. Now I have to take her out tomorrow night to fire a few boxes.

I am undecided on what to get next. Looking at at beretta cx4 storm in .40, Just right carbine in .40, or a Wasr 10/63 with the double stack mag modification. I do want all of them eventually, just not sure which one now.

I use Fireclean and it works great. Was using a cleaner, then using a gun lube prior to this. No smell and just wipe of carbon with a paper towel and quickly re apply, if necessary. I can clean an lube my glock22, sig sp2022, and my ar in 20 mins or so

Where does everyone get there uppers put together?
FocuzMan replied to palmtree's topic in AR Discussion
I am new to the game as well, I just finished building my first AR, complete upper and lower from parts kits and stripped receivers. If you really want to do it, u need at least an upper vise block, lower vice block, a set of punches, AR wrench and obviously a wrench. If I had the chance to do it again, I would In a heartbeat. You will learn so much about the AR and how it works. -
I got it from another member, A&A branded metal mag.

Upper Build 90% Completed Rifle Needs Optics and BCG
-
It's been a few more weeks and I have completed the build, well 90% anyway. I am on the search for a mil-spec BCG and some optics. This build was fun and I learned a ton about how an AR15 works. This is a build I would recomend for those who are good with tools. Not that its difficult, knowing the basics goes a long way. Pictures on the way. Lower Build

I am looking for a gunsmith local to Monmouth county. I need a muzzle break pinned and/or welded. I'm new to the game and don't know where to look for these services.

It's been a while, time for an update. I have received the PSA classic LPK and lower receiver. I have assembled it.( fairly easily) I also have a aero precision stripped upper. I have tried to pre-fit the upper on my assembled lower and it's a no go. Extremely tight. I'm pretty sure I can make it fit, but then I wouldn't be able to remove it. I am debating on getting a brass brush and removing some of the coating where the pins are going through to make it fit. Any and all recommendations/solutions are appreciated. Thanks J

is this a store that i can just walk in, or is it by appt only? -
My stripped upper just shipped for Aero Precision yesterday. Should be here Monday. Picking the lower up sometime this week, now just waiting for PSA to ship my lower kit. Now I have to find a bcg, gas or piston setup, charging handle, dust cover, foward assist, barrel, muzzle break and a hand guard. Missing anything?

<----ignoring trolls So there was no EO on AW ban, but he is urging congress to make a tougher than the last and a 10rd mag cap. Please correct me if I read incorrectly.
