  1. So, like the title said, I turned 18 in September. I started filling my application out last week for my Firearms Purchaser ID Card, but I just got four tickets yesterday. It was a stupid mistake, and I know that I won't commit the mistake again. These were the four tickets: 1. New Jersey GDL Violation - No red decal. (I'm 18 and completed my full year of probational driving, but I still had the probational license, so I have to have the sticker even if I'm 18.) 2. Window tints. 3. Reckless driving. 4. 75 mph in a 25 mph zone. The main things that I'm concerened about are ticket numbers 3 & 4. Since both if them are traffic violations, can it hurt my chances of being approved for a firearms license? I know that this may sound stupid since I just turned 18, but I only want a FID so I can get a hunting license and also go to shooting ranges. I am a responsible person, and I know these tickets may not make me seem like one, but trust me. This was my first and LAST time of being an irresponsible driver. I'd appreciate it if you can treat me fairly since I did learn from my mistake and I just need some help, even if I am a "stupid irresponsible kid that wants a gun." in your eyes.
