Just called. I was able to complete my entire question/statement before she transferred me. Only because my very last word was FID. She said hold on: Then transferred, rang twice then voice mail "Mike Cassy" ..... I had nothing to say so I hung up....

I totally agree with all the comments above. Its just strange that the instructor was adamant about it, and I was taken back a little. I completely explained that I had the Non Resident Florida along with a few other states and I was under the impression that I was covered. I didn't argue his statements, I just was like ok......

This was brought to my attention recently during a TX CHL class. Any opinions? Basicly what I was told that Florida will not recognize their own license from NJ residents unless we had one from NJ. I have my Florida License an was unaware of this. 790.015 Nonresidents who are United States citizens and hold a concealed weapons license in another state; reciprocity.— (1) Notwithstanding s. 790.01, a nonresident of Florida may carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm while in this state if the nonresident: (a) Is 21 years of age or older. I was part of the work group that mailed out the new cards. We only mailed out the ones that were marked paid. This was back in January.

Shooters has these 15 round ar magazines, I originally purchased from Wideners, but with the shipping price, would have been about the same if i purchased from Shooters. They are over an hour away, so I would have to be in that part of the state to purchase from the store, unless I did an online purchase. http://www.shootersnj.com/product/dh-tactical-ar15-new-jersey-compliant-15-round-steel-magazine-16550.htm

I have the big buddy heater from Mr Heater. Its great indoors, and works awesome. Using outdoors not really that great it dissipates so fast. you can almost burn your hands but still freeze to death.

Legality of AR lower private sale in NJ?
TulsaJohn replied to svt3183's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
So question, I have a stripped lower purchased online, Transferred through NJ FFL to me. Was it transferred as "other" or "Rifle" I did receive a COE. I still have that lower with nothing done to it. Can I take that lower out of state, complete the lower with the intentions of making it a legal Pistol in that state, and leaving it in that state. Not sure i can do that since it might be seen in the eyes of the ATF that it was transferred as to be a rifle, even thought it was never made into a rifle. I have zero plans on completing this in NJ, not sure I will do it period. -
Thanks, Got one!
