A friend of mine found someone at http://www.newjerseychimneysweepguild.com he was happy with. -
Thanks for the post mge_1! I never heard of this round before. They also have a bolt action rifle in 22 TMC that takes the same mag. I wonder if they have plans of releasing a semi-auto rifle in 22 TMC.

I want to first say thank you to everyone for their input on my sons front end repairs. I found the Monroe quick struts for the Maxima by crossover part #'s for a 2005 Altima. The Monroe website did not have a quick strut part # for the Maxima and when I called them I was told the same thing. The 2005 Altima w/3.5 and the 2005 Maxima w/3.5 share a lot of the same parts. The part #'s for the just the struts and associated parts are the same for both cars. So I got the quick struts for the Altima and we installed them on the Maxima with no problems. We also did a outer tie rod end, I think the rack is ok we changed the power steering fluid it was like water (some shop told him he needed a new rack). We had a wheel alignment done, the front end is ok now. Thanks!!!

Thanks, I do not see a part # for the 05 Maxima on there site.

Who makes the quickstruts?

My son has 2005 Nissan Maxima (120000 miles) that is in need of front end work, we will be doing the work together. Without a doubt it needs struts and outer tie rods. I'm considering the Gabriel Ready Mount struts. They are ready to install right out the box http://gabriel.com/light-vehicle/products/readymount/. Has anyone here used this strut or have suggestions on another make of struts to use? Also I think the rack and pinion is on it way out. I've found re-manufactured and new ones. Any rack manufacturers to stay away from or go with?

Never heard of the Eneloops, thanks. I have Panasonic Ni-MH chargers from my RC truck days. Will they work with the Eneloops?

+1 Gleninjersey and THANK YOU!!!!! I had never heard of this gun before, but my friend had heard good reviews of it. I saw some reviews and videos online and pulled the trigger, $361 shipped to my FFL. I should be able to pick it up in about 2 weeks!!!!

I saw part of an interview with a woman on Cam & Company yesterday about this, it sounds pretty good! -
I totally understand man, you want it done the way you would have done it!

Its gone now, thanks.

It would not surprise me if FNH knew the plates were missing when they shipped it. What did the dealer stay when you told them they were missing?

I want that pistol, I keep changing my mind on the finish! I see the black finish a lot, haven't seen a FDE in a long time. What finish did you get and how much was it? All this best with it!

+1 I have been casually searching for a 1999 to 2004 RAV4 the past few weeks. I've found that there are a lot people out there flipping cars by putting there phone # into Google. I have seen these cars in parking lots of stores on Rt. 22. They do not have plates on them. The best you can do for a test drive is around the lot. I'm now looking for something 2009 to 2011 Certified Used or close to it that I can take for a real test drive! -
It sounds like your initial or only problem was air flow. Are there balancing dampers installed in the branch ducts? Where are your returns located? Is the duct system leaky?

I also have a HVAC background. You said you had some problems with the furnace, what were they? Whats the BTU's of you're furnace? Here are a couple of things that will shorten the life of a heat exchanger . 1. Improper cycling of the blower. 2. Not enough air flow across the heat exchanger. 3. A damp basement, your 90% furnace has no pilot light to keep it dry. 4. Improper burner setup. Your cooling at 5 tons is over sized for 1700 SF. Using the rule of thumb of about 600 SF a ton, puts you at about 3 tons. When a AC system is over sized it does not run long enough to drop the humidity. You end up with a cold and clammy house. Did you have this system installed if so was it done by professionals or was it there when moved in? I have seen some DIY installs were the homeowner figured bigger is better. The size of the return duct is also a factor of how many tons of AC you can effectively install in a home. I would not put any money into that furnace. See if they will give you the heat exchanger. If so sell it and the furnace to someone could use to heat a shop or garage. Its a easier to install the HXC on the furnace when its not connected to anything.
