I had i firearms instructor tell me that his issuing PD has his new permits already extended for 180 days when he picks them up. Just make the dam permits good for 6 months or even better 1 year, with no extension. You apply for 6 to 12 permits and you're good for 6 to12 months. This should be the norm, just think how much time this would save US and PD's! It will also be good for increasing pistols sales, which is probably why we will never see it change from what it is.

I'm in the market for a used small SVU. 1999 to 2004 Toyota RAV 4, Honda CRV or a Hyundai Tuscan. I was told in a NRA First pistol class if you are asked if you have any guns in your car during a routine traffic stop. Your responds should be why are you asking me that question officer. They also told the class that the officer needs probable cause or your consent to search your car (which you should not give them) and keep all of your range equipment out of eyes view.
