Last I read, there was half a million containers floating on the sea around LA waiting to be unloaded.

That looks like the rockaway Walmart last week. There was no cat food to be found.

Why should I continue my NRA membership???
WP22 replied to Jon K's topic in Announcements, Support & Suggestions
Maybe I’ll donate/become a member when they sue and successfully nullify the Hughes Amendment like they said they would. Until then they’ll be forever known as the gun rights organization that had their hands in every major piece of anti gun legislation. Not one red cent ever for these jackals. -
Where Did You Go / Are You Thinking Of Moving TO When You Leave NJ

NH is a great state. Love it up there but I don’t think it’s still gonna be tight 20 years from now. -
Where Did You Go / Are You Thinking Of Moving TO When You Leave NJ

Tennessee or Georgia. But since I’m still about 10 years away, I’ll reevaluate in the future. chances are I’ll end up moving to where the fewest New Jerseyans, New Yorkers and Californians are moving. It it happens to be Kentucky, so it will be. -
Supreme Court Takes First 2A Case in a Decade

The follow up question should have been, where’s the geography clause on the 2A? -
Supreme Court Takes First 2A Case in a Decade
WP22 replied to Bklynracer's topic in National Gun Law Discussion
Yes, because it happened in every state became a “must issue”. Yet these asinine assertions always go unchallenged. -
Well that depends. If you are driving, you need a drivers license. If you are walking, you don't need anything. You don't need to carry any paper work related to your firearms.

Gotta clean my new handgun but I’m kind of nervous!

Lead traveling at around 1200 feet per second down the barrel is an effective cleaner. -
Oh please. Who wrote this garbage? ACB didn't humiliated anybody. Every time the court is accused of being made up of partisan hacks, which they are, btw, a member of the opposing side that's making the accusations comes out denying them. it's SOP. and, a second BTW, ACB and Kavannaugh were horrible picks that will turn out to be worse than Souter. The only difference between them and Souter is that will take them lesser time to be relaible leftwing votes.

TN is the place where I'll end up. I got the call, twice, from across an ocean and thousand of miles away. The thing is they knew, understood and never critized my choices that put an ocean between us. We lived on phone calls, (hell, I'm so old that in the beginning was letters) and early visits. Sure I have regrets and I also abandoned them for freedom, economic freedom. But leaving them when and why I did it isn't one of them. I regret I didn't visit them more often when I could. -
just for accuracy. By law the daughter doesn't need to get a FPID but needs a P2P.

Supreme Court Takes First 2A Case in a Decade
WP22 replied to Bklynracer's topic in National Gun Law Discussion
They never had any teeth to enforce their decisions; they relied on the honor of those affected by their decisions to obey them. while Andrey Jackson may never have said" John Marshall made his decision; now let him enforce it" he did write something to the effect that the court didn't have any means to enforce it. -
After being born and raised in Europe ( not in a comblock country) but having lived most of my adult life in the US as a naturalized American I never thought I would consider retiring in any other place but the US. Sure, the gun laws in Florida or Tennessee will always be better than in the Czech Republic. But it also doesn't have any of this CRT, common core and all the assorted leftist bulshit that plagues the US. It should surprise no one that the folks that experienced the blessings of socialism/communism last want it the least. Besides it's never too late to learn a new language.

General Labor Strike Planned Across US on October 15th
WP22 replied to Sniper's topic in General Discussion
He won't even need to open up before the election. He'll sell the lock down being in the interest of public health and lemmings will lap it up. We've seen it before even amount the staunchest constitutionalist among us here. -
General Labor Strike Planned Across US on October 15th

I almost fell over when I found out how much the newly hired gopher is making. And from what I was told, they refused the first offer which was substancially higher then what they were making. Damn. Don't y'all be surprised everything you buy costs a lot more today than it did six months ago. And it will be a long time before it gets better. Once the sugar daddy tuns on the spigot , it's very hard to turn it off. -
Can I bring my guns to my cousins farm
WP22 replied to MartyZ's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
I always thought you could because it's a " place of practice". But this place of practice doesn't not meet the legal definition of a "place of practice". So, no you can't transport your guns to your cousin's property. Instead, shoot his guns, replenish his ammo stash and give him some beer. -
NJ never grandfathered squat.
