Thin box made of wood about 18" wide, 1" thick. Back panel extends downward about 4" and has chicken wire attached to it on the inside. Bottom is open, can't tell if top is open. Attached to tree about 20 feet up. Some sort of trap/bait for insects (gypsy moth?) maybe.

I work at the building on Radar way and hear what sounds like automatic rifle fire coming from the area of the range. This started about a week or so ago.

I don't remember - it was several years ago. I think there was an option to test for radon which I declined. He did the inspection with me and was extremely thorough and detailed, taking pictures and notes of everything. Small ranch and it took a couple of hours. He seemed to have a lot of knowledge of the codes. Afterwards he gave me a well laid out loose leaf binder containing a checklist, his notes and pictures.
