  1. I've run into very tight primer pockets with S&B brass. Keep in mind if you plan to reload.
  2. I love bock type beers but they seem difficult to find here. I have found Shiner, Paulander, Troegenator and sometimes Sam Adams Double Bock.
  3. MidwayUSA often runs these deals on factory seconds of these orange peel targets. I've gotten these many times and never found any defects with them... http://www.midwayusa.com/product/867456/caldwell-orange-peel-target-5-1-2-self-adhesive-bullseye-factory-seconds-package-of-50?cm_vc=wishList
  4. I ordered extras before the veto. (from MidwestPX of course)
  5. I mounted a $4 cree flashlight to my Lee turret press by using a hose clamp around the turret base...
  6. http://www.nj.com/ledgerlive/index.ssf/2014/06/the_gun_nuts_are_right_this_time_ledger_live_video.html#incart_river_default Anti 2A bias already oozing just looking at the text in the link.
  7. What other powders have you tried for .45 and why don't you like them? Soloman's always has Bullseye whenever I go there. It's little dirty and you have have to keep a close eye for over charging but I found it to be great for .45.
  8. .076 Per round - not bad if you tack on some other crap to justify the shipping. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/828721/aguila-superextra-ammunition-22-long-rifle-40-grain-plated-lead-round-nose-box-of-500-10-boxes-of-50?cm_vc=wishList
  9. I hate to give him any ideas but what if Bloombooger gets one of his fellow communists to open a gun shop and starts selling these - that would activate the law, correct?
  10. I've been looking for a 627 Performance Center or one of the new 986 Pro Series revolvers too.
  11. Apparently the court thinks that blatantly breaking the law is not being unreasonable... “We do not conclude in this decision that Jersey City's inquiries were unreasonable or made in bad faith,” reads the 21-page ruling, released today. “However, the Legislature or the Superintendent of the State Police must authorize any requirement or condition for issuance of a handgun permit that goes beyond the terms of the statute and the State Police.” http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/2014/04/report_jersey_citys_gun_permit_application_asks_too_many.html#incart_river And of course the Star Ledger has to get their dig in by headlining dozens of pictures of a gun buyback with the article, which has absolutely nothing to do with lawful citizens seeking firearms permits.
  12. Appeals court rules against some questions on Jersey City gun permit application - http://www.northjersey.com/news/appeals-court-rules-against-some-questions-on-jersey-city-gun-permit-application-1.1004488 Wasn't there a similar case recently that the appeals court ruled against the town and forced them to comply? I guess every town that adds extra requirements is going to have to be taken to court.
  13. Lee's instructions... I usually put a decapped case in the ram, elevate it into the die so that when you loosen the clamp nut the decapping pin doesn't fall through. Snug the clamp nut and push the decapping pin up a hair, then fully tighten.
  14. I have a few cases from AceCase.com that are built well and not too expensive. They have a thick strap loop at the muzzle end that I hook a carabiner clip to so I can hang it upright. Most of the loops on other cases wear out and break over time. I received one yesterday that had one carry handle larger than the other. My opinion of them may change depending on how they handle this (no reply to my email to them yet).
  15. Toms River never contacted any of my references for several P2Ps over the last few years. Last round of permits (picked up today) took two weeks.
  16. I've been to Soloman's and Cheyenne Mountain several times this past couple years to buy powder - as recently as last week at Soloman's. Both places always ask me for my FID and write it in a log every time.
  17. It's about a 5 minute drive for me. The nearest other places (Soloman's and Cheynne) are about 45 mins.
  18. I went to CJN Casting last night - they were open til 8:00 I believe. They had primers (SSP, LPP, SRP and LRP) and a refrigerator full of powder (I saw one pounders of Varget, W748, Red Dot, Green Dot, WST, WSF and several others). They also had some once fired brass. Quantities and selection are small but it's definitely worth taking a trip there and picking something up even if you don't need it right now. Prices were reasonable and the gentleman working there was very nice and helpful. It would be great to see this place develop further into becoming a full reloading supply store.
  19. NICS are up again significantly this year for NJ... http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2014/03/gun_background_checks_spiked_in_2013_as_jersey_debated_gun_control.html#incart_river_default
  20. Good deal - ordered a bunch - thanks for posting.
  21. Online source under $20 including shipping: Get a "four pack" and it comes to $16.20 each for grade 1A cans shipped. Black Star Surplus http://blackstarsurplus.com/Inventory/50-cal-ammo-cans/can-packs/ I've ordered from them and was happy.
  22. I remember Cabelas had an "unpublished" unlimited offering of .22lr back in August and my order of 20 boxes went through fine... http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/topic/59658-real-deal-cabelas-cci-22lr-mini-mag-unlimited/?hl=%2Bmini+%2Bcabelas
