  1. I was able to order 10 boxes and I'm not even sure what this ammo is. Doesn't the CCI Tactical come in boxes of 375? The description says box of 300.
  2. Portal for the 212A... https://www.njportal.com/NJSP/CriminalRecords/
  3. Yes, since they decide who can have permits. Must have been a republican.
  4. Midway has had CCI primers in stock for a couple of weeks now. They just went on sale now for $129.99 for 5000.
  5. An ABC propaganda special airing this Friday night. I don't think I'll be able to watch this without putting my fist through my TV. http://abcnews.go.com/US/video/young-guns-diane-sawyer-special-21694484
  6. Typically you would run them through the sizing process before checking the length since sizing can stretch them a bit.
  7. You may be flinching - to find out, use a ball and dummy drill. Keep in mind that you must not know where the dummy rounds are in the magazine ie: whether it's the second, third, fourth, etc. so have a friend load them or use a few magazines and randomize them. If you're not using a laser then just watch what happens to your point of aim when you dryfire on the dummy.
  8. Good news, but I'm sure the applicant won' be getting his permits within 30 days either.
  9. I'm watching Windtalkers right now. Another great movie with lots of action.
  10. Sorry - I tried - but it looks like its' gone now. It was the CCI Troy Landry "Choot Em" box of 375 selling for $25.56.
  11. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/83340 I was able to order ten boxes just now.
  12. Deprime/resize...is it easier to get a single stage press and do that on there? The Lee Turret press can easily and quickly be configured to a single stage press by removing the auto indexing rod. Case trimmer...what kind. Little Crow works well... http://www.brownells.com/reloading/case-preparation/case-trimming/case-trimmers/worlds-finest-trimmer-308-winchester-sku749013296-45315-101631.aspx?cm_mmc=cse-_-Itwine-_-shopping-_-Little%20Crow%20Gunworks%20Worlds%20Finest%20Trimmer&gdftrk=gdfV21820_a_7c187_a_7c1021_a_7c749013296_d_749013292_d_20591 The Giraurd is probably the best... http://www.giraudtool.com/prod02.htm Tumbler...what kind? I started with a dry tumbler and ended up building a wet one. What's a good powder to start with for .223 55 gr? Availability in these times. W748 and Varget are excellent powders. What kind of primers to start? Availability in these times. Do not use Remington 6 1/2's for .223. What else do I need to start? Caliper, scale, funnel, books (lots of reading and research), puller, case lube, rifle case gauges, trimming and deburring tools, primer pocket swagging tools for mil brass. An autodisk riser and die plate for each caliber. This way you won't have to re-adjust whenever changing calibers. http://leeprecision.com/auto-disk-riser.html http://leeprecision.com/4-hole-turret.html Extra auto index squares, clamp and depriming die with extra rods. You will definitely break these parts when learning the use of the press... http://leeprecision.com/decapping-die.html http://leeprecision.com/square-ratchet.html http://leeprecision.com/auto-index-clamp.html Regarding rifle (assuming you got the deluxe kit that already comes with the powder and priming setups)-- Rifle powder through die http://leeprecision.com/rifle-charging-die.html Double disk kit http://leeprecision.com/double-disk-kit.html
  13. As long as there is nothing flammable (powder, etc...) nearby, always wear eyepro and do it gently. This may sound crazy - but you may want to get accustomed to seeing a primer go off in open air just so you know what you're working with. I often take primers that got mashed while trying to seat them and dispose of them by detonating them by squeezing them in a pair of wire nippers - using common sense off course - protect yourself with eyepro and a towel or tarp. They're about as loud as smacking a hammer on a 2X4.
  14. It is this item from Home Depot: http://www.homedepot.com/p/NIBCO-1-in-Copper-Cup-x-Cup-Coupling-with-Stop-C600/100345530?keyword=039923309082# The two machine screws are needed to stop the ejector on the ram's down stroke for popping the case off the swagging nipple. Drill holes for the screws just slightly smaller than the size of them so that they thread themselves into the copper. Screw them in far enough to so that they catch the ejector, but not too far that they interfere with the ram.
  15. True, but with a simple add on modification, it will work fine. I used a copper tubing coupler with a couple of machine screws in it to fit over the ram and hold the RCBS case ejector thing. It works perfect.
  16. Thank you for posting this. Received my order of 3 today.

(Midway seems to be increasing their shipping lately) Rainier LeadSafe Bullets 9mm (355 Diameter) 124 Grain Plated Round Nose Case of 1000 In Stock Product Subtotal: $100.99 Postage, Handling & Insurance: $17.08 NRA Round-Up Contribution: $0.93 In Stock Grand Total: $119.00
  18. Customer: I'm tired - been as busy as a dog lately. Gene: You've been licking your balls all day?
  19. How is the quality of Xtremebullets compared to Rainier and Berry's?
  20. I use one for .223 and it works well. The cases have to be sized before trimming because it measures off the shoulder. I use a Lee sizing die and the cases often get stuck in the trimmer due to leaving the case mouth too large (I believe). It is fast and it leaves a nice clean edge that needs very little de-burring, but it takes a while to get the right feel for how much pressure to use.
  21. Could there have been some tumbling media stuck in the flash hole?
  22. What about just gluing some square pvc to the inside of the drum for the agitators? http://www.homedepot.com/p/Veranda-3-4-in-x-1-1-2-in-x-8-ft-Cellular-PVC-Trim-White-H190HWS3/100275037 Maybe round it a little bit with some sandpaper so it fits to the curvature of the drum. What is used for the rollers? Is that 1/2" gas line pipe? Is that a 1/3 hp motor? Can you get away with using a smaller motor?
  23. It's visible from the parkway through the trees heading south. They have a large sign that says "Gun Store" or "Gun Shop", something like that.
