  1. The website claims that it does the de-burring also. How effective is it at doing the de-burring? I use the Little Crow trimmer - which works well but still requires de-burring afterwards.
  2. Kelly's Heroes (Was going to add that too but already had two Eastwoods)
  3. Movies with same actors/director that were good if not better... Soylent Green The Last Detail The Birds Scarface Dirty Harry High Plains Drifter Mr Roberts The Battle of the Bulge The Great Escape The Caine Mutiny
  4. Case length measured to 1.749... I have checked most of the rest of the lot and no high primers. I have a case gage and will inspect the the entire lot tomorrow. Exactly my thoughts. First time shooting this rifle so I'm afraid there might be something going on here. What should I check? BCM 14.5 Complete upper w/ Mod1 comp... http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-Standard-14-5-LIGHT-WEIGHT-Upper-Receiver-p/bcm-urg-car-14lw.htm Windham Weaponry BCG New Frontier lower with PSA LPK and PSA stock with carbine buffer. I was shooting very slow - at least 1 - 2 seconds between shots. I distinctly remember pulling the trigger on this particular shot. As far as know, I didn't experience a double.
  5. I had this happen today where the cartridge (factory S&B) went into battery bout 90% and still fired. You can see the bulging of the case where it was not fully into the chamber. Also the primer came out.
  6. Correct, but the p2p is unlimited for the duration of the four years (OGAM still applies) so no more applying for p2ps every 90 days and getting extensions bs. This is the sugar in the "little bit of sugar in a goblet full poison" that Scott Bach talks about. Of course, this bill has more donkey punches in it than reach-arounds.
  7. I believe the FID would stay permanent and the permit to purchase a handgun (if you have it) would require renewal when your licence gets renewed.... e. (1) A firearms purchaser identification card shall remain 48 valid, and the affirmation of that fact shall be embedded on a holder’s driver’s license or identification card, and each replacement or renewal thereof, until that person becomes disqualified under the provisions of N.J.S.2C:58-3. (2) An embedded permit to purchase a handgun shall remain valid until the holder’s driver’s license or identification card, as the case may be, expires. At that time, the holder may apply to the issuing authority for a renewal. The issuing authority shall investigate to determine whether the applicant is still qualified for a permit to purchase a handgun. The investigation shall include a criminal background check and other investigations required under N.J.S.2C:58-3, or any portion of those requirements. So I guess that when you renew your driver's licence, your FID stays intact. You then would have to go to your local police department and apply for your permit to purchase a handgun which would then be electronically added to your renewed driver's licence when it gets approved.
  8. Get an adjustable gas plug if you don't already have one... http://www.midwayusa.com/product/777146/schuster-dcm-adjustable-gas-plug-with-wrench-m1-garand-steel-parkerized
  9. Quantity Available: 11 Let's hope it stays at 11 unless they lower the price to a reasonable level.
  10. At the very end of the audio (01:52:54) you can hear some woman saying "They just want to have their little guns and do whatever they want with them". Wondering if that one of the senators or just an anti.
  11. 1. Application type (FID/permit w/ existing FID). . 4 PPPs 2. Police Department where you applied. Toms River PD 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD. Lady that is always there handling records, etc... 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit. ~2 Months - submitted on 2/24, got call on 5/1. 5. Documents required by the PD (aside from the standard application and the mental health release form). 2 extra forms, one of them asked redundant info already asked on STS-33, the other asked about persons living with you. 6. Notes - anything pertaining to the application process (unforeseen difficulties, chief of police calling your home, you hiring an attorney,
  12. Good thing he didn't have a Barrett 50 Caliber Sniper Assault Rifle or he would have taken down an airliner, or a rail car, or an oil refinery, or a tank, or a ship, or a skyscraper ...
  13. I agree also. When it came time to "Speak on the Bill" and the speaker would go into a speech about 2A, not trusting the government, etc... instead of hammering specific points of the bills, it seemed like a wasted opportunity to engage Greenstien and Norcross in dialog that would have had a better chance of doing some good. Instead it just irritated them.
  14. Just a view of what I do for reloading .223 brass obtained from range or wherever. Most of the time is spent preparing the brass. This is what I do... Quick clean De-prime Clean primer pockets Swage primer pockets Long clean in tumbler Lube Size Trim/deburr/hit with scotchbrite/inspect Tumble again with polish Insert primers At this point I have the brass cleaned, sized and primed - ready to load. On a lee turret press, drop the powder, seat the bullet, then factory crimp. Some reloaders like to combine some of these steps. For me, I kind of like to take it slow because it gives me more exposure to inspecting the cases as I go along. As you become more experienced, your processes will become more efficient. I also like to get the brass as clean as possible. It's a very rewarding hobby, but it's not for everyone.
  15. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/453211/peltor-indoor-outdoor-range-e-a-r-ear-plugs-nrr-22-db-1-pair I use these outdoors and I'm constantly taking them out and putting them back in again. They don't need to be shaped or rolled and you can still hear ambient sound fairly well.
  16. Received mine today - thanks for posting Joe.

  20. http://nj.gov/governor/news/news/552013/approved/20130117b.html So it's been a little longer than 60 days already. Has there been any news on this?
  21. Wait, what? They're selling 1000 rounds of .223 in bags for $419 (42 cents/round) and boxes of 100 rounds of .223 for 24.99 (25 cents/round)?. The 1000 round bags maybe if it's re-manufactured, but the 24.99 boxes of 100 sounds way too good to be true.
  22. Blaster .223 @ 50 cents a round, 23 left... http://www.freedommunitions.com/223-Rem-55-gr-FMJ-B-p/b223f55r-b0500.htm
  23. "...deadly weapons dealers..." huh? Why does he use that term? Is that the normal nomenclature for a firearms dealer in Delaware?
