Congratulations! That's a nice Colt. I also have some news... Guess what..... I just got the call, permits are in. That is three weeks to the day from submission. Not bad at all. Thanks guys!

Good for you !!!! I'm glad it worked out to four weeks. Now go out and start the OGAM clock running Thanks for keeping me updated, I appreciate it very much. I'll post here when I get the call for mine. Tomorrow (Wednesday 2/4) will be exactly three weeks since I submitted. Hopefully, I'll get the call in another week or so.
-
Thanks ChrismNJ, The 3rd was a Saturday, did you submit the forms to the PD on the 2nd? That would put it around three weeks, a very reasonable time.

I bought a few Sig mags a few months back. Make sure you order enough for free shipping. Mags arrived fast..no problems. check top gun supply first. They usually have better prices. Their service is fantastic too.

I signed up for a five year term and paid the first year over the phone. I got the second year bill in the mail and sent a check. They sent me a card when I joined and I just received a new one after the invoice was paid for the second year.

Springfield Armory M1 Garand, December 1941

Great looking rifle! I like the way you got the ammo on stripper clips. Must be a joy to shoot. -
Thanks! I signed up for the trial and it just ran out. At $99 it seemed a bit steep for the amount I buy from Amazon especially seeing I don't use the music or movies. At $72 it's a go for one year, then I'll have 12 months of data to see if will keep it.

That's a reasonable turn-around time. Not short but reasonable. Now go buy a few find pistols !!!

Thanks for adding the link. Glad you got a few. Hope they are all Tula's

Folks, These things went up about $20 from last summer. I missed the sale and have been waiting till now to snag a Hex Mosin. They are $169, not too bad for a hex that is VG/Excellent rated. Go get them!

Thanks, Much appreciated. I figured I was in for at least 4 wks. They quoted 6-8 weeks. I told them the last batch was done in absolute record time - 11 days!! Greg (at the window) told me there were way more applications than earlier in the year. Must be the "Christmas Effect". I will post when I get the call. Thanks

Did anyone file for permits lately in Toms River? I submitted a week ago and am trying to gauge how long they have been taking. My last go around was very fast but it was back a while. Thanks....TR

Answersuote name="W2MC" post="943904" timestamp="1421437960"]Trolled? Ya think? Yes given the layered question pattern from an unknown source. Very direct, specific questions which are not normally asked by a true novice. Answers are met with follow-up questiond drawing us deeper into the morass. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck.....etc.

Thank you Tony, you can count on it

Tony, Congratulations! An excellent venture which I am sure will be successful due in large part to your great reputation!

I would not pay that much for an old Italian trade, especially without seeing it first hand. I own a 92FS and love it. They are very expensive guns NIB and are easy to find. My advice is to pass on it and look for a new one you can break in yourself

Very nice looking. It looks a lot like a Troy without the front folding sight.

Blake The Yoga is a hot item and has strong reviews. Let me know when you are going to buy it. I'll send you a message.

Well said T Bill. I am not sure of your age but I am 58 and 60 is about a wet fart away. I too find that some things mean much more to me than they did in the past. There is no way I can live in this hell hole of a state once I stop working full time. Then its time to downsize and move south somewhere near the a beach in free America.

Jack, You stated earlier today that a break can be pinned and not welded if the barrel is 16". Are you SURE as I though the muzzle device must be perminately attached to the barrel If it must be pinned AND welded, can it be done with a thread protector in case someone does not want to use any form of break/comp?? Thanks, Tom

Please tell me they don't have carry permits.

I cannot believe a person who is this stupid was elected to represent anyone. He can barely speak and apparently cannot form a sentence without a constant stream of "um's".

GFH 182 NJ legislators now want you to register your cameras
TR20 replied to gunforhire's topic in Gun for Hire
They can go to hell. If I want to put a camera up its none of their damn business. -
Welcome from Toms River!
