This place is amazing. Very impressive as soon as you get to their property. Hard work and dedication paid off in a huge way. Range is top notch, everyone should check it out atleast once. I will be back real soon.

You can bring your own ammo even for a rental gun. The range master shepard is the man there lol.

I been driving 60 miles to shore shot which I really like. I'm only 30 miles from shooters and will be going there as soon as it opens tentatively on September 14th

Shore shot in Lakewood right off mile 90 on parkway. Can walk right on with your OWN AMMO and pay $20/hr for your lane. They have plenty of cheap targets too and a huge rental selection.

I'm right off parkway exit 25 by ocean city. Going to probably join at shooters at tips hardware mile 58 when that opens in August. The ventilation is fine to me at shore shot. The AC was cold today as well.

I went there again today to shoot. Got right on the range and no issues at all. Shame I'm 65 miles away or I'd definitely become a member.

I bought my glock there. Nice clean shop who's stock has been replenished recently. The ladies r nice and the owner chuck is extremely knowledgable. The other guy there who open carries seems like he's never had a good day in his life. He shouldn't be around customers. Still my goto store.

They told me2 days ago via email the opening is another 8-10 weeks out. I will be checking it out when they open. Bummer about having to buy their ammo.

Drove 65miles north Sunday to check these place out. They were busy and I waited 20 minutes to shoot but it was worth it. $22 for an hour and a pack of targets and I could use my own ammo. Shot 200 rounds through my glock and left happy. Staff was friendly. Asked me to switch lanes so an AR15 could have the wall, no problem. Also 12guages being shot in there. If it wasn't so far from my in south jersey (ocean city) area I would have joined on the spot.

I finally got the call from NJSP! My FID change of address and permits are in at the Woodbine barracks. I only applied back on January 5th so that is 132 days! What a great state. Now off to start the 2 week NICS check.

Great news!! I been waiting since 1/5 for mine thru NJSP woodbine same as you. Hopefully they show up in next month. Uuughhh

I applied through woodbine barracks on 1/5 for FID change of address and p2ps and they confirmed my sbi came back my references and everything else was sent off to Trenton on 2/15 and I'm still waiting. Neighboring police stations are completing same thing within 2 months. The state police barracks says they are waiting on Trenton to mail it back down. Don't even know what to think anymore.

I called woodbine barracks today and they told me they've been getting completed applications in now finally. Mine at 100 days is still not back but said they've been getting them back from Trenton. That is a lot different than a month ago when I was told they didn't have 1 from 2013 come back yet. My glock is at the store paid for too. Frustrating.

Yeah I'm at 90 days through same barracks. They told me all my stuff sent to Trenton feb 15th. Does Trenton approve your app? Or the barracks does and Trenton just creates the FIDs and permits?

Yeah. I think he was referring to my local barracks applications only. Woodbine NJ.

I been waiting since 1/5 for FID address change and p2p's out of NJSP woodbine and called and spoke to a very helpful trooper. He said not 1 application has come back complete from Trenton for any 2013 applicant yet. He said they are still waiting on some apps to come back from late November and December! In my case said my SBI mental health and reference info was sent off to Trenton on 2/15 and it's just a total waiting game. Said yeah this is supposed to be a 30 day process but we elate overwhelmed and it's running 3-4 months. I am almost at 10 weeks.....well see how long I end up waiting.

Called woodbine barracks Friday 2/15 for an update. Good thing I did because someone my 2nd reference phone questioniarre wasn't on record even though he did it over the phone with a trooper handling my application! The trooper I had on phone was very helpful and be called my friend and got that taken care of. He said my SBI and mental health records had just came back a few days prior so it didn't cost me much time. He said they send everything out to be finalized and in "2-3" weeks my new address fid card and p2p would be ready for pickup. Said NJSP woodbine apps have been running 6-8 weeks. Does that sound correct? My background check and mental health records come back and they send them off along with the reference interviews? I guess if something was no good they wouldn't even send them to Trenton. Hopefully by next week I can report back I picked up everything.

NJSP Woodbine, NJ applied for FID change of address and permits on 1/5. One reference had a phone questionnaire 2 weeks later. 2nd reference was done over the phone a week ago! I'm at 5 weeks now and I called last week and was told they are waiting for mental health check to come back. Will keep you posted. Wait is killing me!

Haha thanks. And it's the same check process? The NICS check and handgun permit application? Going to get my first shotgun in the meantime
