  1. Another thing to check is the front sight heights. See if they are different from your 226 to your 320. If they are different, getting a front sight the same sight # as your 320 may help. (just another thing to check)
  2. Laminated mine and trimmed it as much as i could. Still doesn't fit into a CC slot, but i put mine in the pocket behind the CC slots. Its a little bit large for that area, but with a billfold wallet, it still fits enough and closes properly.
  3. Yep... I have one on one of my AR's and its pretty accurate for being about $65...
  4. Honestly, if you have performance center version, I can only really suggest an optic. I have an inexpensive Vortex RDS on mine. While I could suggest a new grip, a new stock, etc., the PC version looks like its already upgraded in those areas as it is. I also have a forward vertical grip on mine, but i also have those on my AR's. After that, its just mags & ammo. Save your big money for when you step up to its big brother(s). 15-22 is a fun plinking toy, and if you've never learned to shoot an AR, its a decent enough introduction to them (though clearly not identical).
  5. Considering that I'm actually from there, there was no way this was remotely serious.. lol That said, other than more snow, things arent really all that much different there than here, BUT you can actually carry (though, they have those stupid looking AR's)
  6. There is no more buying and selling groups for guns on FB. FB have taken pretty much all of them down. There are a couple "Gun Discussion" type groups, but no buy/sell/trade things can go on there or it can and will be taken down.

if anyone is still looking for one.. Amazon has a great deal on them today... https://www.slickguns.com/product/maglula-uplula-universal-pistol-magazine-loader-1799-free-sh-over-35?view=list
  8. 88 in a 55 zone with a restricted license at 17 years old.. lol.. wow.
  9. No idea if its a good deal (others will answer that) but Target Sports is a valid site that i've ordered from a number of times with no issues. I would be confident buying from them
  10. My only issue with this is when you say Sig makes a compact grip height with a full length slide. Which model is that exactly? I know they make a compact slide on a full length grip (their 'carry' version) but i have not seen a standard full length slide on a compact grip length. (unless that is actually what you meant?)

for 22 and you own one of the few older guns it works with.. sure
  12. as long as you keep one thing in mind.. if you need it fast, order it elsewhere.. otherwise, i have not had issues with them. i always get what i ordered. i gave them my FID on my first order and i havent had an issue since (but I read the FAQ's ahead of time, so I knew i had to provide). they do suck at giving an order confirmation, but they will definitely give a shipping confirmation.

That Caldwell thing really doesnt do much that the Lula doesnt do.. It still requires you to put in one round at a time and press something to make it work. I guess the one thing you dont have to do is push down a little? (but, as Johnny mentioned, you have to actually screw down the mag with the Caldwell).. Until they come up with something small, lightweight and that will load 10-15 rounds with one button, i'll stick with the Lula..
  14. This.. full stop. No need to do anything more than this.
  15. I have them on my Sig P320 compact. I mainly shoot outdoor, so the fiber optic is definitely a plus for me, they are certainly bright enough outdoors. I find the tritium bright "enough" inside in the dark. If it is pitch black, you can see them easy enough.. if it is not pitch black, chances are you wont need them anyway. I have a set of Trijicons on my CZ and they are only nominally brighter than the TFX's. (The difference is that the TFX has the tritium behind the FO, so there will always be a little dulling there), They are really "pretty good of both worlds". They arent the BEST of both worlds (there are probably better fiber optics and there are probably better night sights), but they are a pretty good combination. I wanted them since I shoot outside most of the time, but i also have the Sig as a home defense-ready pistol, so i wanted the option of the tritium as well (whether i ever have to use it or not). CAVEAT - I bought the TFX Pro (with the orange outline in the front). I think the orange is brighter and easier to pick up (for me). Daytime and evening with some ambient lighting.. I like them myself. They are certainly not inexpensive though. In the OP's situation, I probably would not get these sights for those shooting situations. For me, they do what i wanted... As for the fiber optic length, i think you will find most are longer.. I dont think you are losing all THAT much sight radius on a G19 for general range shooting...
  16. I think its more like SG might discontinue them (or more to the point, they dont know when they will get more, so they are saying they are discontinuing them so they can cancel orders).. CCI wont be discontinuing their most popular product and one of (if not THE) the best .22 rounds in the world..

When I first shot (ever), I rented a gun from the range. RSO was loading a mag for me (wanted to make sure i knew how to do it properly). After the first mag that he loaded by hand, he said "hang on a minute, I have something that makes this easier".. came back to the port with a lula.. Showed me how to load the mag with it, took 1/3 the time and was ridiculously easy. After I bought my first handgun, one of my first purchases was a Lula. I have had it and used it ever since. Saves so much time and effort, I cant believe people bother going to the range without one, regardless what they say "its just as easy by hand, so i dont need one".. Utter BS, it's not as easy by hand. Its called technology, embrace it. lol.. (and for the record, yes, i can load by hand... i just choose not to if i can avoid it) That said - you have been a shooter for a few years now. As others have asked, how have you JUST discovered this?
  18. 6.50/box for minimags is about as cheap as you will ever find these days... picked up another 1k for myself too.. nice find
  19. What was the last handgun that Remington put out? Oh yeah, the R51.. which had to go back on the blocks for a year until they redesigned it not to malfunction constantly. Hope they plan on putting these out for $400 or less.. Otherwise, I can't see them selling a ton of these. Pass for me
  20. Mark IV is clearly aiming at the "ease of takedown" that the SW Victory came out with. Mark IV looks like a nice pistol, but the price point compared to the Victory (which is an excellent target style 22 itself) leaves a little to be desired. Its cheapest configuration is $150+ more than the Victory. (And the frame is aluminum with that one.. move up to stainless steel and its another $160.. and move up to the hunter model and add another $80).. that said, im sure they will sell a lot of them because there are tons of Ruger Mark series loyalists, and this is the next step..
