  1. More important question.. WHY would anyone have a hot dog from BURGER King ? and you would have one over a Whopper?
  2. and they had a limit of 1 even when it was in stock..
  3. Eh, not necessarily. I have .38spl and .357mag that would last me that long. I shoot other calibers WAY more often. My revolvers are "once in a while" shooters.
  4. Sucks every time you have to do it. Lost our dog this past fall and its heartbreaking. For us, its especially tough at the beginning, probably for the first month or so afterward because everything you do was influenced by the animal in your life, and its all different and weird.. Some like to get another one right away to help with it, others (like myself) like to wait a little while, especially when the pet was sick and needed special care in their latter days here. (Time to gather yourself and get back to normal before introducing another to the household). Neither option is right or wrong. As others have said, worst part of pets is the fact that they only live a fraction of the time we do and it hurts EVERY time you lose one. Sorry for the loss. We all clearly know your pain..
  5. Actually.. it's $20 (they tack on a $2 convenience fee)... Instead of having to pay cash or a certified check to the NJSP, its an online background check request and its sent back directly to your PD... You need your townships ORI # (you can get that directly from them). https://www.njportal.com/NJSP/CriminalRecords/
  6. the appointment has to be confirmed by the senate.. since the GOP still holds majority in senate, they can block.. whether or not they do is another matter entirely
  7. 28/30.. not bad considering i guessed at about 6 of them.
  8. There's no monopoly.. They are not a government agency. They are not a public utility. You agreed to their terms & conditions when you signed up. You do not pay for their service. They can do whatever they want. We may not AGREE with it, but sad but true, they can do what they want. As for a lawyer.. LOL.. good luck with that..
  9. Is that really how you feel? That replying to a jury duty summons is "complying"? That you should "fight" this? No joke or troll?
  10. That was copied and pasted from the NJ government website. Sorry to disappoint you. Fact is, you CAN get charged with contempt if they feel like doing it. Sounds to me like you've gotten lucky thus far
  11. How long have you been an American citizen? The Questionnaire/SummonsThe questionnaire/summons is a legal document. Please read the summons carefully and follow the instructions. You have to fill out the Juror Qualification Form (the yellow portion of the summons), sign it and mail it back to the Jury Management Office within ten (10) days of receiving it. Please make sure to provide all necessary documentation when requesting to be excused. (See Frequently Asked Questions ). Keep the "JUROR" portion of the summons. On the back of the "JUROR" portion of the summons is the telephone number you must call or the website you must visit after 5:00 p.m. on the day prior to your service day for reporting instructions. NOTE: Failure to complete the questionnaire or making a false statement on the questionnaire may subject you to a $500.00 fine and/or contempt of court.
  12. why did you think the sports were inadequate?
  13. This is just dumb. Why ignore it? As Lalo said, go online and tell them that you have moved out of state/county/wherever. This literally happened to me 3 times and each time, there was no issue at all, just "OK, you're excused". This is a legitimate excuse and there's nothing they can do about it, especially for town/county petit jury..
  14. Yeah, they were available for about 20 mins.. lol
  15. would prefer rain.. dont feel like getting out the blower is i dont have to.. meh.. past new years, dont care about snow
  16. decent enough looking, but seems a bit high priced for a snubbie revolver.
  17. so, by changing half the rifle, you can use a different caliber.. lol
  18. they do, but pretty much only CTD sells it, and its spotty quality at best.. but im guessing he was talking more about the steel stuff
  19. You need to fill out: NJ STS 033 Form (application for Handgun Purchase permit) http://www.njsp.org/firearms/pdf/sts-033.pdf SP 066 form (Consent for Mental Health records search) - Note, this can be filled out ahead of time, but should be signed when dropped off so they can witness it http://www.njsp.org/firearms/pdf/sp-066.pdf Now.... the background check USED to be that you needed to fill out the Yellow Form and give them an $18 certified check or MO for the state police.. However, most towns have done away with that and you can now do your records check online.. https://www.njportal.com/njsp/criminalrecords/ However, you must know your ORI code (Originating Agency Identifier). This can be found here: http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/omb/forms/pdf/municodes.pdf The code to use is NJ0xxxx00 (the "xxxx" is your 4 digit municipal code from the list above). You pay $20 for this service, payable by credit/debit card, and the results will be sent back directly to your township. It’s best to do this after you drop off your application/mental health forms. Its also best to call the town and make sure that is all they require (some towns like to "add stuff in" even though they aren't supposed to). They “may” also not actually use the online records check even though most do.. Good to double check..
  20. Here's another reason.. Some clubs in NJ require membership to be able to join & maintain membership at the club.
  21. im having that issue now.. they are literally calling me every single day, excluding holidays... out of 31 days in December, they called me 26 days. getting a bit ridiculous now. (and im already a life member, they just want me to go higher im sure)
  22. Um.... Move? (seriously though.. you can't stop it)
  23. Trigger may be crap.. but we're comparing it to a Hi Point.. compare the 2 guns overall and the SDVE wins every time. What is the OP's budget and requirements? Really need to know how much money and what type of gun (semi auto v. revolver)..
