I am currently working on an FFL application for an undisclosed location in Sussex county. I have discussed the lease with the local zoning official and that person has been very cooperative. I'm in discussions about a lease that would be cheap enough for me to wait out the several months until my application is complete. What should I charge for transfers in nothern Sussex County? Would $20 plus a NICS fee entice people to come up that way? 15$? On a different note, do we have a state requirement insurance? Is it anything more than a $1,000,000 general liability policy?

Shoot at four separate quadrants on your target, alternating pistols between magazines so you don't give undue bias to one pistol, and look at your groupings. If you're permitted to do so, don't drop your mags after they're empty so you can practice a mag swap when you switch back.

Well, you guys are doggone friendly. I'm not surprised to see such heavy representation from Sussex County. Enlighten me on this one. We have a prohibition on manufacturing a lower receiver for personal use? Shoot, even California doesn't restrict machining out an 80 percent lower as long as you don't do any private party transfers once it's complete (that's a federal thing, anyway).

I don't like the Glock "safe action." I've owned both Glocks and XDs, and I prefer the single action XD over the Glock. Are you set on getting a 9mm? I really like the XD in .45, and I noticed RTSP has an XDM 45 for sale. 13 rounds of 45 ACP is a force to be reckoned with. Recoil is negligible. A lot better than my Glock 22 in .40 S&W, that's for sure.

If the day comes when I can't buy what I want in .50 BMG, I'll thumb my nose at the Man and buy a rifle in .416 Barrett.

Everybody seems to really enjoy my BFR in .500 S&W. I have some 700 gr. bullets loaded it for it. Could probably use a mag-na-port. I've seen some people almost plant it in their faces.
