looks like they are going to approve me. When dealing with government officials, it always helps to bring some cute kids with you. -

I went to go see the biggest land use guy in all of ocean county. He told me i didn't need a lawyer. He pointed to an engineering firm to help me with the site map. The only thing i had to do was draw up a floor plan. -

I'm zoned light industrial/ retail and have been advised the area has nothing specific on the books specifically excluding fireams or ammo sales. I rent my unit and the landlord is 100% behind me -
Opinion- Would you like to see a Gun Store and Range in Old Bridge?
whiteout replied to Ddc2003's topic in Ranges & Gun Shops
how hard is it? What about selling ammo online, What kind of capital are we talking about? I am starting the process and thought a good way to start off was a only a couple kinds of rounds on gunbroker or armslist? Would $100k be enough to start? -
Got a new old stock sks stock from sarco. Not sure if it matches what i have, as far as are both of them being for a pinned or threarded barrel. HAve heard it takes some filing and fitting, that i don't feel comfortable doing, so i am looking for a shop who can handle this for me. I'm in the toms river area. Also. i need my hand guard to be swapped out as well. Any suggestions? Also, what might i be looking at in terms of getting this done, labor wise? post here, or send me a pm if u feel more comfortable doing it that way

That link isn't working, does anybody have a working link? -
Task force is set up to please both sides. He gives the impression he is serious on this issue, but then he keeps pro gunners happy when the task force does nothing. In fact, i would be willing to bet, the task force is told by him, don't get anything done. The governor's phone line answer is "task force".

Several offices both repub and dems have confirmed they do not have supermajority. With this one call, even one of the head zealots immediately admitted they do not have it. When i mentioned supermajority, the wind went right out of her sails. She also stated that the governors answer to this is "task force". sounds like they already know which way the fat man is leaning.

I'm going to throw my two cents worth. Had a nice conversation with the woman. I bought up some of my concerns pertaining to ammo sales. I kept it civil, did not tip my hands as to how i was leaning. She stated the assembleywomans position. When i mentioned nicely the governor and their lack of a supermajority, she groaned and said i had obviously studying this well. I got a strong vibe that they already know how this is going to play out which is: THey push forth the bills 2) Christie does not sign off, but instead sets up a "task force" 3) with no supermajority, the bills die 4) The task force is window dressing, they do nothing and accomplish nothing 5) Christie looks like he did something on gun violence, but he does not. THis way he can state when he runs for prez that he set up a task force, but he will not had a bad rep with republican pro gun owners.
