Caught that last night on the local news, good to see. As if it truly fit the 2A category, right. I don't recall seeing the founding fathers having a set in their back pockets in any of the pictures I have run across. Maybe the slingshot will be next? I have a large capacity slingshot magazine,,,,,,,,,,,,,,(front trousers pocket)

This is exactly why I conceal carry an AK47 in my waistband holster, and a 50 round drum magazine in an ankle holster. Sorry, but this tale just has too many problems where a professed ex- LEO wouldn't have had holes in their story.

Think back to the door to door confiscation that occurred in the aftermath of the storm known as Katrina.

Hi! A few weeks ago you shared info with me regarding the OBRPC and an event happening this eve. I looked at the website but didn't really see a mention of what I thought you were describing.
Is this still happening today? Do I remember right that it starts around 6, but that people show up around 5 p.m.?
I'm hoping to get there, and look forward to meeting you and the others.
Regards,

Riddle of the Day regarding the NJ Mag Ban
345Sire replied to RobCo's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
So if I know (aware) someone who has an item and I can access (power and intent) it within some small, arbitrary time frame or distance, I'm considered in "constructive possession"? I have read but kept out of this discussion for 18 pages, stifling myself from making a fool of myself. But if my understanding is correct, PLEEEZE, come on,,,,,,??? -
The new gun law and transporting magazines

If I had the money, space, AND approval from boss lady, I'd consider doing something like that. Ohh, yeah, and time to figure out what the next dozen choices would be. I tend to plod through the contemplation and research phase for each one. Call me cheap, or call me indecisive, but like my Milwaukee recip saw and 1/2 inch corded drill, I tend to keep my tools 4ever. -

I'd ask what town, but I truly don't want to relocate from one part of this state to another. But, I appreciate that this detective was a fair-minded individual. -

"Besides, if it takes 4 months to get your pistol permits, do you honestly think they have time to go door to door to "tell you the good news."" It only takes 4 months in MY town because they only have one officer give any attention to it. And that officer seems to have the late shift, and lots of vacation time that seems to coincide with my pistol permit applications. I wouldn't believe Murphy if he said oxygen was good for us. -

I took a page out of the very same book. Only to a bud in Pennsy,,,,,,,,, It would be different, perhaps, if they were to expunge the convictions for such an offense after/if it's overturned, like they are proposing for the marijuana convictions, but with Murphy and his ilk, I'm not holding my breath. -

If I wore my pants that loose, the Paslode wouldn't be the only gun I had to worry about. -

Mel Gibson (or was it Danny Glover?) used it in the second(?) Lethal Weapon, I don't remember but I think it was before Denzel. In either case, it's more Hollywood than real, but fun to see anyway. -

Good move. I showed her and my son that it could stick into a piece of plywood from 15 feet. My son said "WAY COOL, DAD!" Mom was impressed but not as much as when I broke out the Ramset. Now, how do you plan on doing the Paslode as a CCW? -

Hmm, wonder how my wife feels about my 2 Paslode cordless nailguns in that regard,,,,,,, -
I wouldn't be surprised to find out suddenly that Mr .Murphy would try to change the rules on what's needed to get these searches approved. An officer saying he saw bloodshot eyes could be accepted perhaps as "reasonable suspicion" that someone was "under the influence". I'm concerned that Murphy and his ilk will keep hammering away at everything they can, and we don't/won't have the political oomph to stop it.

"prominent Democrats" Like so many other "privileged " people will not be held to the same standards as you and I. Just like THEY can get carry permits with ease compared to the rest of us.

THERE'S that testosterone mentioned earlier. Maybe a wee tad too much? -
Planning to visit there with the family asap. The wife likes the idea of a place with nice clean ladies' rooms. I figure they HAVE to be since the place is brand new.

Your open mindedness is refreshing. I liked seeing you react as you did here. I wish my better half were more so. Tho truth be said, she's at least consented to keeping one by her side of the bed. Reluctantly. -

Hey, I bet a potato gun could easily be modified to pass out hockey pucks. Would the ATF label that as an AOW?
