Bans bump-fire stocks and other devices that allow semi-automatic weapons to fire at fully automatic rates.

Well, wouldn’t that set you up to ban lightened triggers... and then ban semi-autos, as you can shoot them at full-auto rates?

That guy Jerry  Miculek can shoot a revolver at automatic speeds. 8 shots in something like 1.2 seconds, or similar.

He did 6 shots and a reload then another 6 in under 3 seconds.

They gonna ban fingers? Ban practicing good technique?

I know, he's special, but it still makes the point I think. The gun-ban-nuts will never get wise to the fact that guns CAN be a good thing.

Instead of wasting allll that money fighting against guns, it would be far more effective using it for hardening the "soft targets" with training and equipment and planning that would "SAVE THE CHILDREN" .

The triple barrel, 18-shot Pistola con Caricato revolver. Select fire to use one, two, or all three barrels with a single trigger pull.

WOW is not sufficient to express my reaction. That's fricken COOL!

It looks like it's a top break, I've long had an interest in those, but have yet to find one in my price range/condition.

Man oh man, thanks for sharing THAT!

Just the thing to hang on our walls in their lovely display case. As soon as I have 8 grand plus to burn, I'm gonna get me one.  NOTTT!!!!

I will concede it's an interesting setup.

    Obviously not New Jerksey legal,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks for the link, I love seeing new stuff.

I've seen the 4 barrel one before, and saw a 1911 type double shooter similar to what you put up. I like the 4 barrel better just from an aesthetic standpoint.

This is the first revolver I have seen with double barrels.

I know the applications are limited, but the concept, as Griz said, is just to see if it can be done. Looks like it can. :good:

Like RayRay, I appreciate the brainstorming it took.

  5. Sorry to butt in, I'm a carpenter so have no need to look at this other than nosiness at the posting title, BUT!!! I really never expected to be getting chuckles reading this particular thread. Thanks for keeping the uplifting spirit of the forum even here. No wonder I spend "way too much time looking at all that gun stuff!"  (quote from the better half) :icon_e_smile:

Interesting article here.  Not all liberals are anti-gun.

“The firearms community in Boulder — they may be Democrats but they love their firearms,” said Ms. Hollywood, herself a former Boulder resident.

If they love their firearms why are they voting in the very people who will try and take them away?

Seems we are getting close to "oxymoron" territory here.

Will everoyone on here label him a criminal too?

I'm with you, BUT, remember, the laws(sucky as they are) of this stupid state  are written so as to snag everyone they can possibly hook their teeth into.

    Ignorance being no excuse,

everything being illegal unless it falls under exemption,

and the piss poor distribution of the information regarding those laws  to the general public.

People are expected to know, yet it hardly gets the publicity that the  weather report or lottery winners in the state get.

    Boo, hoo, hoo.

Looks like jumping on the anti-gun bandwagon isn't paying off for Dick's

With sales falling after the implementation of corporate gun control Dick’s Sporting Goods may have to close 35 stores across 18 states.

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2018/12/11/corporate-gun-control-fail-dicks-may-close-35-stores-across-18-states/?fbclid=IwAR2bnzHx00pZlmhci_sfAFbFs0Wo-U-DRiu1iDXLjkl0jBto7i8ewFSFX2Q

Couldn't happen to a (koff koff) nicer outfit.

Like someone else mentioned, my only sympathy lies with the employees.

  9. Just wanted to pass the word, Ron has passed. I just heard thru the Boy Scout grapevine. His son and mine were in the same troop together for a good number of years, and I liked him. We spent  at least a few hours shooting the bull at Scout functions.

His wife Peggy was also a heck of a gal, always ready to jump in, like Ron, to help the boys.

    He will be missed.

Anyone who wishes to pay their respects in person,  here's where the services will be.

Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Avenue, Fanwood, NJ on Friday January 11th from 3:30-6:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron’s memory to Wounded Warriors Family Support (Omaha, NE; www. WWFS.org).

so just wondering if there are any good close quarter type muzzle devices.. looking for the whole push the blast forward type devices since the barrel is so short..

First I'm glad you got the rug off. Most firearms don't need toupees. :icon_e_wink:

I have one of these:   https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2016/11/jeremy-s/gear-review-blast-forwarding-device-bfd-indian-creek-design/

and I have found it to be pretty effective at pushing the noise forward. The guys I was with agreed, as they were next to me and in a good position to tell about the gasses.

I can't swear it will stop you from trying out other wigs, but,,,,,,,,,,,,good luck.:good:

HOW TO BUY A GUN…Without Your Wife Finding Out

    What a great read, thanks.

After 30 plus years married, it's too late for me to get away with most of these tricks, but I enjoyed it regardless.

BTW, I never saw an expandable gun cabinet. I have seen add-on ones, where you add a section above or next to,,,,,,,,,,,,

Up until last month how many of you had 15/30 mags?.

Being a bit new to the AR15 world, I was never in a position to buy the 30 round ones. 15 was the limit at the time, so when I began shopping for mags I only got the ones that were clearly not 30s. I bought 10 and 15 round mags that you could tell were those sizes specifically, so it was easy to tell, both for my own quick and easy reference AND to minimize hassles from others on the matter.
