Going to range 14 this weekend to celebrate. Great news.

Aquariums fresh and saltwater have been my biggest hobby for years. I was into hardcore reef tanks for a while but after a few years but it was very time consuming and very expensive. I still have a freshwater community tank and a basic saltwater tank. I shut down my reef and sold off a bunch of equipment to buys my first two guns.

Happy to finally get the chance to clean my first pistol in preparation for going to range 14 this weekend to break it in. It's a Smith and Wesson M&P 9 mm. Only could get it with 10 round magazines but was able to find 2 extra so I have 4 total. Very excited to try it out.

Well i purchased a gun Friday afternoon and was able to pick it up Saturday morning so that sounds strange unless they are bs'ing you. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

Mine put in 6/14 at 4:00pm, got the call it was done 6/15 at 10:00am.

Dropped off permit yesterday around 4 P.M. Got call from dealer around 10 A.M. that NiCS had cleared.

Thanks. Maybe it helped that I stopped by the PD earlier this week, but then again maybe it's luck idk.

Good news. FID and permits finally issued today. Total time 14 1/2 weeks. Already stopped by and dropped off my paperwork for the pistol that has been on hold at Arms and Ammo. NICs is supposedly taking around a day.

When I dropped off my paperwork I was originally told It would take 12 weeks by Washington Township PD in Gloucester county. I waited until then to start calling and left two messages that never got returned. It is now week 14 and I stopped by there on my way on my way home from work the other day. I was told they are short staffed and that they are still doing background checks for applications from January, mine was from February. Frustrating but I will have to be patient.

I was mainly interested in their gun rentals. Being new myself I am trying to experience shooting a wide variety of guns. I was told they have a large selection for rent and that their pricing was good. I have found it very expensive to rent guns in south jersey.
