  6. was he able to force them to comply with the statute? and how much did he cost, if you don't mind my asking?
  7. do it, then if you wanna be paranoid about the pd hassling ya, keep a digital recorder on ya, and keep a dash cam running when you're driving. you should be covered with those.
  8. they've done a number on a couple heater cores..........one was my boss's car. we'd had the heads off a few times, 'cause he just wouldn't blow the pos up. he wouldn't let us flush it either....so eventually enough of that crap settled in the core......
  9. i think napa still sells them that way, although if you get a younger guy and ask for cadillac aspirin, they won't know whatcha mean, lolol for the record, i hated working on those dam engines......... i had no clue they were edible. i'll take your word for it though.
  10. Cadillac aspirin!!!! i'd forgotten about them
  11. you need to be sure. some leaks cannot be sealed in any way other than replacing/repairing the leak. a radiator will not seal with any kind of stop leak, nor will a water pump. that said, i've had customer requests of doing things like this, and had decent luck with blue devil. but you need to follow the instructions to the letter or it won't work.
  12. farcebook is out. they mostly seem to have someone watching constantly. any comments that don't agree with them are normally deleted within 10 minutes, and the person that posted said comments is banned.
  13. seems to be mostly back to normal the last couple days, although i keep getting a bar on top of my screen saying "firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page". at least it's moving at normal speed though.
  14. when i used to help teach new r/c pile-its at our club, i called people like this "yea butters". you'd show them how to do what they asked you to show them, and you'd get "yea but i was doing this, or yea but this, yea but that", etc. they got 3 chances. after that i was done with them. to the point that i just walked away from one guy. anyway....that's what this guy seems like. he's essentially getting fantastic advice, and for every reply, we're seeing what essentially amounts to "yea but".
  15. yea...that's why they wear so many medals.......compensating.
  16. well hopefully no one listens to those fruitcakes
  17. i used to fly air warrior.....on a 9600baud modem. that connection screech/squeal is forever imbedded in my mind dammit.
  18. kind of, 'cept i normally have multiple windows open....so i tend to tab back n forth when working and it's slow..... this is what happens to me sometimes. i've on occasion had to click the "X" in the address bar to stop it from loading, then clicked the button to reload, and it comes down. i can't seem to find rhyme or reason to timing....seems to be whenever it feels like it. i should have mentioned........i'm running firefox on both computers. again.........i didn't mean as a complaint, but rather as mentioned a heads up. last time i'd seen something like this happen on a forum, it turned out that the site was compromised. it took that site owner awhile to get it back to normal. even though i may complain about stuff, i really enjoy this place. when it'll actually load for me.
  19. or we can find someone NOW that will be an improvement over him.
  20. not a single one of us here ever wants to take another life. all we want to do is to stop whatever threat it is that caused us to present a firearm. there is no shooting to disable, racking the slide to make them go away, no shooting them in the pinkie so they'll leave. there is only shooting to stop. the most effective way to stop, is to shoot center mass.
  21. hey guys....not really sure where to put this, so here it is. anyway.......this site seems to be moving agonizingly slow for the last week or so here on this computer(home) at work, it seems to move a little faster, but every so often, it'll stop scrolling, as if a popup was just blocked. when that happens, i have to click in the window, then it scrolls again. this is the only site that does either of these things on either computer. this isn't intended as a complaint, but rather just to find out what's going on. i don't think it's a problem in my puters, as they're both scanned often, and nothing other than a few tracking cookies comes up..... thanks guys!
  22. there's always gonna be those horror stories. especially from the likes of pep boys, meineky, midas, sears......almost any of the chains.
  23. this should be a seperate thread. i mean that in a good way. only one way in/out of my house that they could get to the living areas....that's the front door. thus, i keep a shottie loaded in my bedroom, along with my sig loaded with critical defense. i've shot in the dark, but never thought to actually practice dryfiring around my home. it's tiny in here. very tiny.
