i can't remember if these have camber adjustment built into the lower strut bolts or not. just in case, mark the head of each bolt. put a mark at 12oclock, and when you remove them, you'll be able to see if there's an eccentric built into the bolt or not. if there is, then put them back in the exact same position to be close. if not, then it doesn't matter.

Paper work for long guns
1LtCAP replied to Foxhunter's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
i believe that the "directly to/from exempted location" thing does not apply to long guns, as long as you have your fPid. it only applies to pistols i think,. -
ha!!!!! i'm not the only one!!!

aaaannnnnnddddd now i feel like a schmuck. why the hell didn't i just think of that myself dammit?

hey guys......took my 227 to bobs last night. it had hit me that i've only ever put fmj through it, and at home i keep critical defense in it. so essentially, i blew 3 boxes of that through to be sure it'd cycle. the other thing, is that i keep a tlr2s mounted at home...and again, i'd never shot it with that mounted, although the gun feels extremely different balancewise with it on. that's how i shot it last night. the ammo cycled perfectly, and actually seemed much much more accurate than the fmj i normally run. it could also have been the loose nut behind the trigger...... when i run fmj, to be honest, it's whatever brand is cheaper, and almost always 230grain. the critical defense is 185 grain. what i'd noticed at the end of the night though, was that the muzzle blast had totally covered the lense of the light. is there something you guys do to keep the lights clean?

i carry a small amount of cash all the time. if i'm going to make a big purchase, i either take the cash specifically for that, or i take a check with me. for normal purchases though, cash is king. i used a check for my snowblower, and for the tv i bought mom..........
-
this could be true....... in my case, for me, cash works best. it's faster in the checkout lines, it's more secure(nothing to hack), and it forces me to think twice if i really really want/need what i'm about to buy. no worries about renewing, no worries about finding a gas station with the same price for cash/credit, no worries about someone skimming my cc number, etc.

PBS gun control poll - Hit It!

done, and did anyone else read this link at the bottom of the page? http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/public-support-gun-control-decreased/ -
they still raise the cost of doing business. it costs me a percentage to accept that card, even if it's a check card. it costs me more if the card is any kind of rewards card.
-
yea, i do cash for nearly everything reasonable. i don't even own a credit card anymore. once in a blue moon, if i need a cc to buy something from places like midway or widners, i use a relatives card, and give them the cash right away for it.
-
ya know, at the risk of sounding sarcastic....there is a cure for these problems. it may be hard at first......but we have this funny cloth/paper green stuff. there's numbers and pictures of dead people on it. can you imagine if everyone went back to using that stuff? how much cheaper things would be? since the cost of using plastic is factored into everything........
-
ofr that reason, i'd be on the phone iwth the police, and make sure they're informed. also, i think you can enter that number into google.......sometimes lots of stuff comes up.
-
that's something i hadn't thought of. when she told me, i told her to just get on the phone to her cc company, and get that card canceled asap. she's a bit paranoid about that stuff. she literally checks her account online 2x a day. i stopped calling her paranoid since she caught that one so quickly.
-
that's actually dam upstanding that you sent the package back. good on you man! we all know that most people out there these days would've kept that package. that said.......mom found a 5 buck charge on her card a few months ago that she didn't do. it's not much, but she lives on ss, so she doesn't have much either. she called, they canceled her card, and issued her a new numbetr......but getting them to refund that 5 bucks was bordering on ridiculous.
