Will ammo prices go up due to war in Israel?
1LtCAP replied to ESB's topic in Ammunition & Reloading
when did lc stop selling to civilians? does that mean that they stopped selling to police too? 'cause after all, police are still civilians too. -
i'm not feeling need for level4. i was originally asking about concealed armor, as the links in the original post show. they both do interfere somewhat with the draw from apendix
-
yea, with my level4's, i'm just slapping my belt on and going that way, as there's nothing "normal" looking at that point. rather stupidly, i haven't practiced with the concealable armor on except for one time....and that was at a training course that i was using an owb setup. gonna hafta start some dryfire practice i think.

so i've been carrying left hand version of apendix iwb. took me awhile to feel comfortable with a striker fired gun in that spot, but thanks to the langdon tactical striker fire control device suggested to me by @BlueLineFish (i think) it's no biggie now. so my next issue is carrying concealed with body armor. i've got 2 different styles of concealable armor. both feel like they interfere with this position. i've got this one.... https://premierbodyarmor.com/collections/executive-vest/products/discreet-executive-vest that i bought awhile ago when it wasn't nearly this expensive. and this one...... https://premierbodyarmor.com/collections/everyday-armor-t-shirt/products/everyday-armor-t-shirt-2-0-bundle it's not perfect, but it's better than nothing, and you really can't see it when you've got a shirt on top of it. but i digress. i know someone in here has to have done this....carried iwb with armor. do i move the pistol to my 9oclock? where the armor's not? or do i just work around it? it's not like i'm gonna go running 'round with body armor on all the time......but seeing(don't laugh at me dammit!) what the terrorists did in israel(not the missiles) kinda pushed my paranoid button a little. i truly do feel like trhat could happen here, esPECIALLY with the influx of illegals from all nationalities being shipped all over the country.

back in the late 90's or early 2000's there was a retired crown vic being driven in my town, pulling people over. he got away with it for awhile before they caught him. so technically speaking, this is at least the second time that's happened here in our little town. thing is though.....this town's small enough and the pd's location is such that no one living in this town shouldn't know where it is.....and it's only a couple miles away. easy enough to just drive to the pd, while on the phone with 911 and meet a uniformed officer there.

THIS all over my towns farcebook page. this is way too close to home. i had to make sure my moms caretaker knew about this

ok. as of tomorrow, i'm ditching my laundry company that i use for the shop uniforms. they've effed up the billing something fierce, and when i'm trying to get it corrected their response is....you've been paying, just not enough. enough on that for now though. so....i'm going back to using my own uniform pants. for shirts i'm gonna go with teeshirts and since winter's coming, sweatshirts too. i'm looking for a 2a friendly printer to do the shirts for me. preferably in camden county cherry hill area. come spring/summer i'll probably go to proper uniform style shirts which i'll need patches for too........ thanks all

i would be happy to hear that. it should be an easy fight in light of bruen. my statement that you quoted.....i would LOVE to be wrong, and hope i am. i just keep seeing all of these illegal restrictions that it seems to me could be easily fought, considering that they're going against federal law.......... same. mine aren't that far away though. big question is whether or not that gets us to true standard(30 round) or just our slightly less restricted 15?
-
stealin this quote because it appears as if no one fights the illegal restrictions......just the results of getting caught up in the mess.

NJ LAWMAKERS ANNOUNCE PLANS TO DESTROY RIGHT TO CARRY
1LtCAP replied to M1152's topic in Pending Legislation Discussion
the sad part is that there are people out there that actually buy that drivel. -
and they'll probably be lucky for a 2% net profit. if they manage to do more than break even.......

SCOTUS emergency conference on NY carry law
1LtCAP replied to Xtors's topic in National Gun Law Discussion
if they put the kabosh on ny's stuff, wouldn't that also do the same to nj and ca? i just now realized this wasn't in the 1a, so i edited the colorful word out..... -
golly, who would've ever thought anything like this would be abused? he should be locked up in a loony bin, and treated like a loon. along with anyone that aided him in this.

little hijack......you happen to have a spare oprod? might come down for some ammo and rod.......
