  1. Question for free state pistol carrier though is ‘can this SBR be carried loaded in a vehicle?’ .. unlike the braced pistol… Also, what about crossing state lines. I can understand that some may be totally resistant into registering however for some who had NFA ventures, may be advantageous due to waived $2hun stamp. However now, possibly such limitations will be tethered to this registered item… WTF…
  2. you mean this or this although 2nd is not VLTOR... or even this this even specifies weight... OH BTW, what is the recommended weight for this build? but been reading and .... I'm not so convinced that an VLTOR system is necessary... outside NJgunforums sources... some say that it does improve cycling as some describe it as a softer and tamed ... more reliable and pleasant... then again, most are running FA and duty ... which I'm far from ... as I'm just plain Joe Schmoe with a desire ...and live behind the lines ... without FA access. Unless tube diameter is not physically possible to fit into tube itself... not likely.. gonna try what I have at my disposal.... and if cycling is a problem.. then purchase.. My priority is LEGALITY... OAL length criteria.. without pinning... Context aside... sorry all, don't mean to hijack as I do know this is a PIcture thread Post... but will post my findings and results... nonetheless... informative discussion is appreciated...
  3. no... but am deciding that I may just obtain what works.. instead of purchasing but only to return... saw a couple so far at Ar15.com https://www.ar15.com/forums/Equipment-Exchange/WTS-Vltor-5-Position-Buffer-Tube-not-A5-and-2-end-Plates/119-1960123/ and this one.. but sold... https://www.ar15.com/forums/equipment-exchange/Vltor-a5-pistol-tube-sbm4/119-1959063/ but also a new one .. https://botach.com/sb-tactical-sba4-pistol-stabilizing-braces/ listed at $90 once registered...
  4. would this be ok? https://bravocompanyusa.com/bcm-intermediate-receiver-extension-a5-buffer-tube/ thanks again for 411... ... all very informative and helpful... now going to look at builds again.. and drool... and plan...
  5. thank you, Infamous for the immediate response... Concerning the lower, just make sure when you purchase or transfer the lower it's marked as "Other" on the 4473 form. reason I asked regarding the lower is that I have an existing lower that was never mated and just sat as queen in the safe.. purchased a while ago... and unsure of its existence.. if I do not have this form... then its a NO GO....?
  6. Hey Gang.... nice pics on posted builds... to tell ya'll the truth, I'm just catching onto this "non-nfa" , "Other firearm" trend that seems to have started last Summer.. but... just a clarification... If I can build or purchase a 11.5 barreled upper... and mate it to an unmated lower with an A5 tube... I'm GTG? (interested in NO Pin and weld, thus choice for 11.5 barrel, HOwever if it is 10.5 barrel, then MUST pin & weld to create OAL 26".... ) CORRECT? Just wondering, what is the length of an A5 tube... ALSO, does the lower have to have "OTHER" on it? is it safe to assume that IT MUST NOT be from a completed rifle build ... but an UNMATED lower that will need a brace... CORRECT? Thanks in advance to all NON-NFA/ OTHER informative gods out there.... looking all too anxiously... to ya'll responses....
  7. Hello Gang... I have a couple of books that I would like to donate to our site... or for anyone that may need 'em..... I can meet anywhere close in Williamstown... preferably Crosskeys and Johnson Road. WAWA...
  8. I was in total devastation when Cane denied the Utah CCW back when... that was my lil taste of what a gun-toting free American truly felt like... that sun felt good in my face... and working in N Philly... it came as a plus.... Since, I've learned to deny myself ... other than to hope for HR38.... But learning of NH non-res CCW... well.. here comes the sun again...
  9. 11. Hello gang.. anybody wanna share what u saw at LGS (South / Central J)...? ...weighing the shops b4 I visit
  12. lol... these days... if u have access to the web... you're already vulnerable... there are pro-active measures to protect one's identity... member here... $150 straightforward orientation...
  13. Lesson learned ... sux though... Although I'll have the firearms in a few weeks.. just don't feel as excited as I as when first purchased... ... the apparent satisfaction of instant gratification...
  14. I believe FFL and I filed SP015 and SP016 .... and did not fill out STS-033... thinking the first two would suffice... as all gun info including serial no were included.. so NO permits were requested... but just exemption forms.... Is it too assuming that my local PD anticipate such an occurrence.... and maybe mention that additional P2P where needed... ?
  15. yup... learning... the laws... first time using Multiple.. exemption... almost as bad as applying for Grad school...
  16. The seller did not want to wait for me to obtain the exemption... and certainly wasn't going to wait every month to clear 31 days for each.. Wow... So maybe the PD should have ask me if I had P2p to go along with them.. {or maybe my FFL}... . or I could have just read.. or could have posted here 5 weeks ago... Seems redundant though.. thanks all...
  17. hello Gang, would the gods of NJ handgun laws shed some light on me please? 5 weeks ago, I filed for the application for three handguns..... got it today and raced over to my FFL, When I got there, he tells me that I need a P2P for each handgun in addition to the app for exemption.. I call back to my Local PD and inform them of this and they claim that that is all what I need... and do not need individual P2P for each handgun... which one is it? all in all, did not get squat today but more applications for P2P... What is going on? if the Police knew that I needed three separate P2P, why didn't they provide them when they approved my app for the exemption... a little background... ( I purchase the handguns from a private citizen ... who handed them to my FFL, until I got the exemption back from NJSP...) somebody please enlighten me...
  18. Greetings all.. Happy Holidays... Well looks like Atlantic has em in stock... $1.1K https://www.atlanticfirearms.com/component/virtuemart/shipping-rifles/m92-ak47-krink-rifle-russian-red-wood-detail.html?Itemid=0 This seems the only way for NJ rez to obtain Krink-type arm... Just forfeit the mag, and opt for $40 to perm afix folding manticore stock.. and we're GTG.... what y'll think...
  19. hey gang.... so who else has these pap-converted carbines, NJ compliant of course... perm attached shrouds or fake suppressors, seems like CNC has been eternally out o stock just like the rest of them... like atlantic... so sick ... that I'm considering this ... I think it's obviously overpriced.. and certainly don't want all that shit on it... wonder if EstrellaOrdnance has ever considered doing the work as he's sensitive to our NJ needs. cyall...
  20. uhhh... dunno bout you.. but I'm in jersey... side folding do not exist for civilians .. as much as I despise it... ... at least in NJ air-space...
  21. https://www.preppergunshop.com/index.php/cent-zastava-m70-opap-7-62x39-original-stock-ri2090n.html 7 left on 4/29 @ 2000
  22. thank you sir... always very informative.. didnt want to admit it to myself but guess wanted confirmation... taxes aren't the only factors that's making the state expensive to live in...
