  1. They changed the cards to only say purchase. Why did they do this if possession is legal. Bottom line is NJ statutes contradict each other. Transportation laws say " firearms". Why don't they say handguns if they only apply to handguns?
  2. The leadership of NJ2AS have not applied for their permits so why should I? FJF is full of it.
  3. The only real good part of this bill is that county sheriffs are ELECTED! How many people are that passionate about their county sheriff elections? Well if they can approve permits then we 2a people will suddenly become VERY interested in those elections. Support our rights, get permits done in 30 days or LOSE YOUR JOB! What's not to like?
  4. It only takes this long because they don't give a rats ass about your rights and don't do their jobs. Period. Do you think people are working on your permits everyday for 6 months? It's sitting there collecting dust. NJFID is unconstitutional because you must give up your 5th amendment rights to exercise your 2nd.
  5. Not eligible to vote yet. If I could afford a life membership I would get it just to vote for you! Good luck. If you don't get on the NRA board please consider leading a new NJ 2A organization. God knows the NJ2AS is going down the shitter fast!!!!!!
  6. If you have ever been to Anthony's range you will quickly realize he does NOT need nj2as. He would be wise to separate himself from the ridiculous sh!t going on there. I believe he probably lost respect for the leadership awhile back but towed the line. People need to be honest with themselves and ask is this really the man (FJF) that I stand behind 100%. Is he the BEST person to lead the group with all the challenges and pressures that lie ahead? If he can't take a couple of guys calling him out then probably gonna have more problems in the future. What really pisses me off is that he told the members to go out and apply for their NJ CCW but apparently he nor anyone in the leadership group applied for theirs. Hypocrites
  7. Look I'm not trashing the guy he did a lot of hard work and got the organization to where it is today. But he is clearly not the person to take the orginazation to the next level. I know some of you feel for the man because of his past efforts but deep down you can't seriously think things will go well from this point forward with him at the helm. You can't put the genie back in the bottle.
  8. One of my comments on a thread on FB got deleted and trust me it was very benign. Frank was on a rant about politicians that was a bit contrary to his previous positions. I simply pointed this out and suggested that we be consistent. DELETED. Wtf. Why won't he release membership numbers? $$$$$$$
  9. Just found out about that group from franks post. It's important to here all sides of a story so hopefully all NJ2AS members will join that group too.You got nothing to lose. It's interesting to see franks rants.
  10. Your right I was at that meeting in Toms River. Frank should share his experience applying with the members. Did he have trouble getting forms? Did they tell him he'd be denied? What did he list for justifiable need? Did they know who he was? I don't remember him telling us how it went for him back when he asked everyone to go to the PD and ask for the forms. Just sayin
  11. I get that. My issue is if your going to ask people to do this make it count for something otherwise what's the point? You already know your going to get denied. You don't have to actually apply to know that. Aren't you curious if the nj2as leadership have applied yet? What about Frank? But hey if you want to apply so you can get your denial go for it!
  12. Just thinking, will the new law passed in NJ that has to do with firearm applicant privacy prohibit PDs from informing employers that you are applying for a firearm ? I've read the law a number of times and it seems as the law may cover this practice. They can just as easily verify employment without disclosing your application for a firearm. Thoughts?
