So.....you're saying that TWO YEARS AGO, the NJSP ordered FFL holders to maintain TWO books - one with all transactions, and one with just AW-type transactions? If so, WHY are we only hearing about this NOW?

UPDATE - I've been emailing and UPS'ing back and forth with Estate (Federal). First they had me ship them some of the duds and a box of 25 out of the lot for testing. A week or two later, they emailed back and said they confirm what I have found and please send them back. They will send me a check for the two cases that were bad. I am now waiting for the check. (yes, Federal even paid the UPS charges) I have nothing but good to say about Estate and Federal...in everything they've been an honest, stand-up sort of company. I'll be particularly looking for their ammo from now on.

I clean at home after shooting; I've never cleaned at the range or in the field. I use hot plain water, then normal cleaning with Hoppe's or something similar.

Interesting! I've had similar results with light loads (50-60 gr pyrodex) and maxi-balls in my lefty .54 T/C New Englander. I had it out at the range this past August (after sitting for several years) and initially thought something was wrong - I couldn't see any holes in the target. After five rounds, I intentionally shot one high...and a hole appeared. I walked down and found couldn't see the rest of 'em because they were all in the black! I'd love to hear more about your methods to themadness.....
