  1. Still have not received my Anchor payment but the politicians have received their massive raise.
  2. If the judge "feels" the state had the right to confiscate your firearms they will just deny the claim. These liberal progressives think feelings are more important than rights. If you have the cash and the patience you can appeal the case to higher courts where you may win but you better hope the judge agrees with your attorney fees.
  3. It's run out of his home but he has a website and you can order firearms from the website and have them delivered. The prices on the website are very good.
  4. https://devilsarmory.com/ Great guy great service Great price. $45 transfer includes NICS Same for handgun long gun or person to person transfer. You would have to ask about multiple but he's very quick to respond to emails.
  5. My assemblyman's office contacted the tax division on 12/21. I received a call from the Division of taxation on 12/23. Mine still says processing so Tuesday I will be contacting the assemblyman's office again.
  6. Go ahead, give him a summons. At best we'll be calling you two finger Scorpio. Or Lefty.
  7. Armed with a magnum caliber handgun I give myself a 70% chance if I see the mountain lion attack coming. I give the cat an 80% chance of success on a surprise attack which they are masters of.
  8. Cats are incredibly strong for their size as this photo shows. I'd rather tangle with a large dog than a bobcat.
  9. Show me the man and I'll show you the crime. Lavrentiy Beria, Stalin's secret police chief
  10. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/ny-ag-letitia-james-flips-nras-former-second-in-command/ This explains a lot. The rats fleeing a sinking ship covering their own asses. Anthony Colandro for Executive VP of the NRA. I'd vote for him.
  11. Agreed sensitive place is anyplace that has metal detectors and armed security. Noting else qualifies as a sensitive place.
  12. Recently Cindy and I purchased a whole box of jewelry at an estate sale and while going through it we came across what we have found to be a POW/MIA bracelet. I did some research and found this as well as other information about this hero who sacrificed his life. https://dpaa-mil.sites.crmforce.mil/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt000000tokrLEAQ It turns out Capt. Ivan was from South River NJ. I would like to get this to a family member if possible especially if these are something a family member would like to have. I would love for a person with a connection to Capt. Ivan have it. I want no money and would cover postage to get it to his descendants. If anyone could offer any suggestions or advice it would be appreciated.
  13. Picked up a set of 3 and they are very well constructed. The coupler replaces the floor plate of your magazine so there is some assembly required. I think with a bit of practice you could knock the dust cover of the bottom mag rather quickly. Absent a SHTF scenario I don't see that as a major issue and if we have a SHTF scenario I'm sure I'll have plenty more important stuff to worry about besides looking for the dust cover I dumped on the ground during a quick mag change.
  14. The Anchor website has a banner at the top saying they will be issuing a batch of checks in early Jan. I got tired of waiting and contacted my Assemblyman's office and got a call back from the Div Of Taxation(theft) the next day. If I had a check on me the clerk who called was going to take my routing and account numbers and issue a payment but I didn't have it and really don't like giving out that info on the phone.
  15. I believe loaded in the glove box is OK in SC. I refuse to go through DC so I take 81 down. Much nicer drive than 95. You won't pick up 95 till you're in SC and you're only in MD for 8 miles I believe. Here is the info I was given when I asked US Law Shield about SC. VEHICLE CARRY South Carolina will allow anyone who is eligible to own a firearm, to carry a loaded handgun in their vehicle, regardless of whether or not they have a concealed weapons permit. The handgun may be loaded, and carried concealed on your person if you are at least 21 years of age and have a valid concealed weapon permit or concealed under the seat. South Carolina also allows anyone who is at least 18 years of age and not prohibited from carrying a weapon to carry a handgun secured in a closed glove compartment, closed console, closed trunk, or in a closed container secured by an integral fastener and transported in the luggage compartment of the vehicle. Also, shotguns and rifles may be carried in the open in your vehicle without a permit when going hunting or another such sporting activity such as skeet or trap shooting. S.C. Code Ann. §16-23-20(9).
  16. I hate revive a zombie thread but I too have to vent about the cost of a P2P. The $25 cost is completely misleading. You local PD gets the $25 and NJ extorts another $21 out of you for the privilege of using their poorly designed website bringing your total cost to $46 to exercise a civil right. It's criminal.
  17. I would love to try these out and if they cycled well carry them in both of my court approved firearms. But NJ knows better. https://detroitammoco.com/product/90gr-9mm-interceptor/ Check out Taufledermaus youtube channel. They did some extensive testing. The problem is they are legal for me to carry in PA and NY but NJ says no. So I would have to stop at the border and change mags and probably unload the interceptors to be legal. I just carry Critical Defense To make my life easier.
  18. That's a feature of the law, not a bug. They are salivating at A permit holder injuring a non combatant with overpenetration so they can say see we told you it would be the wild west.
  19. I saw a bobcat, not a Mountain Lion. I can tell the difference.
  20. I saw one a few years ago in Wantage crossing Rutgers Rd near the intersection of 519.
  21. https://patch.com/new-jersey/parsippany/s/itskk/nj-sues-reckless-gun-shop-in-morris-county-following-burglary?utm_source=alert-breakingnews&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=alert&user_email=175ca86f78edfb1702915c4329c64077d3594c81e5ec79f05d0e58c4fd4f68ba While I think it was incredibly stupid to leave firearms unsecured near a window I don't believe it was done maliciously. The fair Cindy however immediately said "inside job" What say the rest of the members?
  22. I'm up for most dates as long as there's no snow. If it snows even a little I'll have to work.
  23. Would have been a good day if I could have made it but alas I had several things that needed to get done around the house. Now that tomorrow is off it gives me more time to peruse the wares at the Mt Bethal FD Gun Show. Perhaps another time.
