The NY Post carried this story this morning about a man and his family boarded for a safety inspection in the East River. He admitted to having arms on board in a safe and the Coast Guard called in NYPD who promptly arrested him. Is it illegal to have arms on board an boat? It says he had a "revolver, rifle and 2 shotguns". Unless the rifle violated the Safe Act maybe I can't see what the problem was.

If you cross a little south at Dingman's Ferry there's a new shooting range called...Dingmans Shooting Range. Haven't been there myself but their (still under construction) website says full inventory of rental guns and retail store. It's a few miles south of Milford.

I hate NY and PA driver who stop in the 15MPH easy pass lanes. Another pet peeve is people whop have to pass you but don't necessarily want to drive faster. They just want to be in front. Got the cruise on and someone comes up slowly in left lanes passes...moves over and slows down. So I get in the left lane to pass them and they speed up. So I move over to get back in the middle lane and they slow down. If only I had a nice Rat Patrol machine gun!
