I don't know but their policy is NO CCW unless active LEO on duty.

I set my scale to the weight of one cartridge, I then found out that it was easy to tell when the heavier Critical Duty round caused the scale to tip. This is how I sorted mine out to be certain.

Was looking into how to obtain a rifle permit, but I can't seem to find much clear info. Is it as si ple as paying the $2 and receiving it? Or is there a course/live fire involved?

Not true. You just need a few more posts under your belt to PM.

I tried to outbid the highest bidder in the last 2 minutes of the auction but the higher I went, The higher I was outbid! Sorry to the high bidder for whom I caused an increase in the final price....But hey, it was after all for a great cause!

The way I've heard it (from multiple sources) is that many years ago a State National Guard armory was broken into and a large number of MI Carbines were stolen - so rather than track them all down the state just made them illegal to own - even though it make no sense at all
In 1967 during the Newark and Plainfield riots, the Plainfield Machine Company, who manufactured M1 carbines, was broken into and 46 full auto M1 carbines were stolen. Despite a huge effort by police and other agencies, none were ever recovered! Due to that theft, we can't have even the semi auto M1 carbines!

Currently live in VA, and have a fair amount of firearms.
10 round mag limit, that's easy to find online but even the NJSP website has 15 as the limit, so I'm not sure where the actual "definitive definition" is. 10 rounds
Things I have that I think are OK:
M1 Garands Okay
Bolt Action Milsurps (K31, M91/30, M44, M1903, M1917 etc) Okay
Shotguns (Mossberg 500, and a bunch of skeet/waterfowl SxS and O/U) Okay
Things that seem to run afoul:
Yugo SKS (fixed mag, but grenade launcher/attached bayonet) Fixed mag, Bayo okay
M1 Carbine (that makes me scratch my head) ?
Things that can be somewhat reconfigured:
A bunch of AR-15s, is there some sort of special license needed? No These are going to stay at my brothers' house here in VA until I make more sense of stuff.
I can't have 2 of the following:
(1) A folding or telescoping stock; (2) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon; (3) A bayonet mount; (4) A flash suppressor or threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flash suppressor; and (5) A grenade launcher; Right
So a fixed stock, bull 26" barrel AR with a 10 round mag is OK pistol grip is the one naughty feature. Okay
My A1 clone is not because pistol grip and non pinned/welded flash suppressor verboten. Right
My M4Gery with the "collapsible stock" pinned to be non adjustable and the flash supressor pinned/welded onto a 14.5 barrel to make it over 16" is OK because it's pinned/welded? No flash suppressor
AR Pistol- No way, not gonna happen, just sell it to to a friend here in VA where it's legal? No, unless under 50 oz.
Pistol wise:
Revolvers nothing crazy. 38/357s, 32-40, 22LR Okay
Pistols,
Sig Mosquito, Glock 43, Sig 226, Springfield Armory doublestack 1911 just don't have anything over a 10 round mag?Right
Ammo:
No hollowpoints? FMJ, Semi-Wadcutter, Wadcutter, LRN all "ok" HP legal at home and range. Not allowed for carry.
I'm finding conflicting info on NJ.GOV websites. Just trying to make sense of it.

I don't give a crap! At that price, I ordered 1! What the hell, I'm sure I have a rifle that can benefit from this upgrade!

@Mrs. Peel,I recently picked up a Sig P365XL in 9mm. Only 1/2" longer slide and it comes with 10 round double stack mags, 12 rounds in America. Something to consider for sure if you liked the P365. I also have a Sig P938, a 7 or 8 round tiny 1911 style pistol very similar to the Kimber. It even uses Kimber mags! I found I did not shoot that gun well because it was too small and therefore extremely snappy.

From what I could see, they are nice but I agree with @Krdshrk, most likely fake. I say enjoy them and the money you saved had you purchased OEM Colt grips.

For those farther South, Media PA in Delaware County is another great choice!

Most PA Sheriffs simply refuse to issue non resident permits because there is no state mandate that they have to!

So he’s been “ridin dirty” since January what a shitshow
Was the trooper's first name Jamell?

3 minutes ago, pjd832 said:So they are requiring a qualification sheet on each one anymore?
You only have to qualify with one gun. The separate form requires you to list all guns you intend to carry. I supplied that form and it was complete at that time. I'll be damned if I'm going to revise their stupid form every time I buy a new gun! I will revise the list if and when I renew my permit.
-
My PD and the state know every handgun I own and I can legally carry any handgun I own, so I'm not adding to their form every time I buy a new gun....Screw that!

Screenshotted the legality of aimsports a2 muzzle brake also for a different rifle.
My buddies pin and weld job looks much cleaner than mine. I imagine most people don't give you sht for this unless you've already got yourself in trouble for something else.
I have the Aimsport A2 birdcage brake on several of my builds. I love the original look and they are really inexpensive.
i'm guessing this is the right place

HE may be using the Vedder wedge since he is using a Vedder Holster. The wedges are universal fit. They are $14.99 each on Vedder's website PLUS shipping. Vedder also sells the same wedges on Amazon with 2 day free prime shipping. This thread reminded me to order a couple so it was cheaper and quicker from Amazon! Link below.
