  1. I have 4 HD guns. A Sig p220 .45 with a lasermax, A Beretta PX4 .9mm, a 12 guage pump with 00 Buckshot and an M4 Bushmaster in 5.56. I think I have it covered. At least in my bedroom arsenal! Other rooms have other arsenals as required.
  2. Greetings fellow forum member with ZERO posts! I think you need to be a bit more transparent about your agenda if you expect members of this community to follow your lead! This board has many intelligent and educated members who were not born as snakes and will not simply follow a pied piper! If you want our support, don't play games like some stupid infomercial "Don't change the channel, we have the secret to cure all diseases but you have to attend our free seminar to hear the truth that Doctors refuse to tell you". This is how you sound to me! Popping in here with a meeting on the same day in the same area with an agenda you refuse to explain. It's never been tried before. it can't lose, it's new and improved! Give me a break! PM me the details so I can make an intelligent decision on whether to join you or not! I would also like to know the number of attendees that have committed to your meeting and more about the strange coincidence of the same cause, same date, same area! Really, a coincidence???? If you would be a bit more forthcoming you might find us a bit more receptive!!!!
  3. Okay fox, I assume from your "no" that the CPD has the right to deny a FPID or P2P but has no say in the CCW permit process? Does a CPD have an obligation to sign all FPID, P2P and CCW applications as long as he feels that you meet the requirements for each? He runs the criminal and mental checks and the references, he sees all is good and whamo, you get your FPID or P2P since as far as he is concerned, you are good to go! Now you apply for a CCW License, Uh Oh, You clearly stated "self defense" which by NJ Statute is not acceptable to show "justifiable need", Yet he has to approve it even if the law states you as the applicant did not pass the requirements to be able to apply for CCW. It's like a convicted Felon applying for a FPID. It ain't gonna happen.
  4. Do you mean he has to approve and forward, or he has to deny such an application?
  5. My brain hurts!!!!!!!!!!! Can someone with more knowledge please explain to my stupid ass what the F**K is going on here?????? Coincidence my ass! Why and by whom are our efforts being hijacked??? If all these groups and associations that seem to care about New Jersey's 2A rights started working together we might get somewhere! It's as if our mutual enemy is secure in a bunker, 100 feet below ground and we are all firing .22 shorts hoping to get through! Where if we all worked together to create a single "Bunker Buster" we might just have a chance! What are the SAF, NJ2AS, NRA and ANJRPC doing! To take on this cause we need to join forces and form a single, well thought out plan and work together to achieve our common goal! A frigging ant colony has a better system of cooperation to achieve a common goal that we humans do! That is why my brain hurts!!! PS, Newtonian, You could bring your dress clothes with you and save yourself a trip!
  6. I am curious about one point. I would assume that since "self defense" is NOT considered a "justifiable need", won't all or most applications not even be accepted, or at most be denied by our local Police Chief or local State Police Barracks? Even though my local chief may be pro 2A, perhaps he has orders from the county or state not to approve and forward any applications that clearly do not show justifiable need "as defined by the PRNJ"! Anyone have any insight on this question? Also, since this thread started out as "Almeida update" and has since been "justifiably Hijacked", should the Mods or could Newtonian go back and edit his OP to change the title of the thread to something that describes it's current topic? I don't know if an OP can edit the thread title after the fact as I have never tried it.
  7. Good for you Ryan! Thank you for being so proactive in this matter! This board is overloaded with reactive posts with all of us complaining about how bad the PRNJ sucks. We have finally stopped the pouting and are starting to DO SOMETHING!!! This is how we can make a change. I know Angelo is waiting to hear back from an attorney. I have an attorney friend who practices criminal defense. I will ask him for his opinion as well or he may know a NJ gun lawyer that I can speak with! Has anyone worked on a list of questions we need to ask at this point. If so, please post them here and I will try to get some answers!
  8. As I stated earlier, I will volunteer to print out the pamphlets at my own expense. I can then mail them to key people around the state for distribution to gun shops, ranges etc.
  9. Done via Pay Pal! I will also pray for a speedy recovery for Kaya!!!
  10. NJ Hunter done! We even got one "I'M THERE"!
  11. I put the link up on NJ Hunter! If we could collaborate and come up with a flyer or handout that clearly explains our goals, I will volunteer to have a thousand, or more printed in color and they could be left at local gun shops and sporting goods stores, handed out, etc. S.A.F.E. NJ Save. Amendment 2. For. Everyone. NJ. (I know, it's corny) Should we try to hook up with NJ2AS on this one, or go it alone! I say "Power in numbers"! Below is the link to the NJ Hunter link to here. I also posted in 1A here! www.newjerseyhunter.com/forums/86-newjerseyhunter-meet-up/183467-protect-our-gun-rights-nj-lunch-meet-up-let-s-do.html PLEASE, Let's not let this fizzle out! TAKE A STAND! We can't accomplish anything alone, but TOGETHER, we can move mountains!
  12. When the app showed a NJ Walmart store had .22s in stock I knew there was a problem with the app!
  13. This! The people that we let run our state are libtards but they are not stupid. The cards are stacked against us! SCOTUS is our only hope as we are a blue state and many retards get to vote Democrat to save their subsidies!
  14. Shawn, Can you please tell me how how I can get in on this wholesale thing? I really don't need that much ammo but I would like to find some at at good price. PM me, I am in Woodbury, not that far from you. Perhaps I could buy some from you. Thanks! CCI Mini Mags would be nice!
  15. Thanks carl_g, I live near Deptford, NJ but my job had me in NE Philly today. I took a ride to Surplus City and they had Federal 500rd bricks of .22 LR but they were lead round nose with no plating. I just think the plated ammo feeds better in pistols. I then went to Tanner's. Lots of guns there but again only lead .22s. I then went to the Walmart and no ammo or guns at that location. I saw 3 Mosins at Surplus City for $209 each but they were really rough. they had spam cans of Mosin food for $105 each. They also had some good deals on ammo but you had to buy a case of 500 or 1K to get them. I found both stores crowded, especially SC! They do a good amount of business for sure!
  16. I tried the app. It came up that Cinnaminson, NJ Walmart and another Walmart in Warminster PA had .22s in stock. I knew the app was wrong for a Jersey store so I took the trek to the Warminster Walmart and they informed me that their store did not carry any guns or ammo. I don't trust that app anymore! I put in 19125 as the zip code.
  17. Handguns, 22, 25, 380, 9mm, 40, 45, 38, 357mag, 44mag. Rifles, 30-30, 30-06, 762x54r, 223, 5.56 and .50BMG Shotguns 12ga. Those in bold type are my SD rounds that I tend to stock much more of than the others. PS, Just kidding about the 50bmg. (I WISH)!!!!!
  18. Good attitude! Many say that nobody can survive alone. Like minded armed neighbors need to to pull together in a SHTF situation. Personally, even though I have lived in the same house for 35 years, I don't know if any of my neighbors are armed or how they prepare if at all for any disaster! I am not going door to door and asking them either. I would assume most of us are on our own in such a situation. Most of my neighbors do not know that I have guns and ammo in my home, I keep that private and I would assume others feel the same! So it's hard to build coalition given this atmosphere of thinking.
  19. As I stated in my original post. Common sense!!! To have enough ammo to defend yourself for years to come but in reality, if you don't have enough food and water to last for the same period then what good is all that ammo??? If I have 2,000 rounds of 5.56 at a cost of 30 cents a round and a bottle of spring water costs 30 cents, Where is my money better spent??? I will most likely never use a tenth of that ammo in a limited SHTF but I sure as hell will use that water. Once again I emphasize the use of common sense, store plenty ammo and even more water and food since thirst or starvation will most like happen long before we run out of ammo!! Most likely scenarios will last a few weeks to a few months at the most. If a SHTF goes on for years, nobody will survive, or very few! My guess is the guy who elected for less ammo than 20,000 rounds and an extra few years supply of water and food will fare better than the ammo hoarder!
