  1. They are all examples of revolver holsters. The 1st pic show a hidden hammer and simply pulling the trigger in that holster will fire it! The other 2 examples are at least somewhat safer in that the hammers are restrained from movement thus making it much harder to pull the trigger and dislodge the snap. I for one, would absolutely NEVER use such a holster for CCW!
  2. There is nobody to talk to! They are a SHTF walkie talkie set that will stay in the box, hopefully forever!
  3. Not yet tested but these have 8 watts instead of the usual 4 watts transmit power. They come FRS channels available but the GMRS channels come locked for transmitting as an FCC license is required to use those. Holding down 3 buttons while turning on the radio does a factory reset and unlocks all the channels. You will not find a better bang for the bucks than this set!
  4. That set had everything, including the cable. I downloaded the Chirp software and used it to program both radios. I watched this guy's videos on You tube. After a few hours I got bored with them and they are back in the box, fully charged in case I ever find a need for them.
  5. That is strange! 11 years on this forum and I never saw a single ad! Is this only on a cell phone? I only use my PC to visit here.
  6. I picked up a pair of Baofeng UV-5R8W transceivers on Amazon for $65. link here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZ8CWQGX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
  7. With a 32 inch drop @ 200 yards, not to mention any wind influence, .22LR would certainly be a challenge. Albeit a frustrating one!
  8. Happy Easter to one and all here! Now that Christ is risen, I pray he helps us save our great nation!
  9. HE may be using the Vedder wedge since he is using a Vedder Holster. The wedges are universal fit. They are $14.99 each on Vedder's website PLUS shipping. Vedder also sells the same wedges on Amazon with 2 day free prime shipping. This thread reminded me to order a couple so it was cheaper and quicker from Amazon! Link below. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CWMK43L3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  10. I don't know but their policy is NO CCW unless active LEO on duty.
  11. I set my scale to the weight of one cartridge, I then found out that it was easy to tell when the heavier Critical Duty round caused the scale to tip. This is how I sorted mine out to be certain.
  12. Quote by Bob Viden! I guess he was wrong!

  14. When you upload photos to the server, they stay there forever taking up space. Since Maks has to pay for that space, non-premier members have a limit on uploads. 3 bucks a month will solve the problem for you and help our little community!
  15. I tried to outbid the highest bidder in the last 2 minutes of the auction but the higher I went, The higher I was outbid! Sorry to the high bidder for whom I caused an increase in the final price....But hey, it was after all for a great cause!
  16. In 1967 during the Newark and Plainfield riots, the Plainfield Machine Company, who manufactured M1 carbines, was broken into and 46 full auto M1 carbines were stolen. Despite a huge effort by police and other agencies, none were ever recovered! Due to that theft, we can't have even the semi auto M1 carbines!
  17. I don't give a crap! At that price, I ordered 1! What the hell, I'm sure I have a rifle that can benefit from this upgrade!
  18. @Mrs. Peel,I recently picked up a Sig P365XL in 9mm. Only 1/2" longer slide and it comes with 10 round double stack mags, 12 rounds in America. Something to consider for sure if you liked the P365. I also have a Sig P938, a 7 or 8 round tiny 1911 style pistol very similar to the Kimber. It even uses Kimber mags! I found I did not shoot that gun well because it was too small and therefore extremely snappy.
