vabene7 replied to vabene7's topic in New Firearms Owners Corner
Thanks for that. I didn't see it. Apologies for the repost. -
Please take three minutes to answer 10 questions on a concealed carry survey. Go to Facebook and search NJ2AR and take their quick survey to help forward the initiative for bringing conceal carry to New Jersey.

Anyone know how to cancel or suspend membership?

This is an odd question, but I have to try.... Anyone happen to have an extra XDM .40 mag I could borrow for the day, tomorrow. I am taking a urban pistol class in Easton PA tomorrow morning (9am to 3pm) and just realized now that one of my mags is not functioning properly. I would return it before dinner time tomorrow - happy to give you a deposit in cash if you'd like as security. If I break it, I will purchase a new one as a replacement. My name is Chris and my email is [email protected] Thanks for any consideration...

Shellback Tactical Banshee Plate Carrier is the model I have with a medical kit and a few FastMag pouches on the front, all in Coyote Tan... http://shellbacktactical.com/bansheerifleplatecarrier.aspx The armor is rated to take multiple 7.62 rounds without compromising and reduces plate frag when hit because of a Rhino coating. Goes on and off in a flash....

You will not be disappointed with either gun. I own both, gen4 23 & XD-40, and swear by each. They are the only two handgun companies I buy now. Federal LEO friends loved shooting my Springfield and said it would be an accepted replacement for their duty Glocks...

Wow on the time it takes for a NICS check. Paul at A&A has New Jersey-fied my Sig 716 Patrol rifle and I'm damn excited to get my hands on this nasty beast... But we ran NICS on April 11th & still waiting. What is causing this unusually long period in getting approval from the NJSP?

Is there anyone near the Jersey Shore that reloads rifle ammo for a price? Or is this not such a safe practice? As I start to shoot my new .308, I was looking to save a bit by reloading the brass. Doing it myself is not an option. Thanks for any information or recommendations. -Chris

I was searching for Hornady Superformnce on various ammo sites and came across someone who stated they wouldn't send Hornady, red tipped ammo to NJ among other states due to its illegality. Can anyone jump in here and fill me in on any information relating to tipped Hornady ammo like their SST, Interbond, International, etc....thanks. -Chris

I wanted to see how you lock up your rifle without a tall gun safe. I recently purchased an AR and need a safe way to keep it secure... Thanks for weighing in.... -Chris

My wife loves her Sig P250 compact, 9mm. You can completely change the handle size (SM, Med or Lg), go full size, compact or sub compact and even change caliber because it's a modular gun. Very easy to take out the trigger and firing mechanism. It is DAO and does have a longer trigger pull than I am used to but she loves it... I ordered an extra handle in size small (comes with a medium size) and she likes the 9mm vs my other .40's. Here is a video showing how you can everything easily.

legal to pin your own AR15 mags?

RifleGear was selling 20 round PMags in their NJ compliant section. I purchased a bunch (.308/7.62x51) for $28.99 each, before they started selling out after the Sandy Hook shooting.... http://www.riflegear.com/c-145-15-round-new-jersey-magazines.aspx They are out of stock as of now but the magazines I purchased function as normal and are NJ compliant before they arrive to the buyer... -Chris
