  1. Perfect. Thank you. User error on attempted search. Cheers.
  2. Was browsing on Black Friday and guy at Ramsey Outdoor recommended the Heckler & Koch VP9. Felt awesome. Went home and did some research on this 9mm. Have fired other HK's but not this one. Wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to use (or better yet own) one of these and get your thoughts please...thanks.
  3. After you buy it, just make sure you peel the Obama sticker off the bumper.
  4. Agree about Dicks. For mid-level safe, which as long as it's in a secure place should be ok, Dicks has a decent selection and good prices. Black Friday should be a prime time for a good deal. Or go to Cabellas in PA: http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/browse/gun-safes/_/N-1100213/Ns-CATEGORY_SEQ_104369580?WTz_l=Unknown%3Bcat104730480
  5. 14% of NJ are gun owners. Most have to take some interest in their rights. If each gun owner converted one more person to our constitutional right you're at almost 30% of the pop. That becomes a more powerful and larger voice. Keep on keeping on.
  6. Great info. Thanks for the responses. T Bill, glad I'm not the only one.
  7. I don't see why references become the arbiter of the 2nd Amendment. Most of us are against the intrusion of government in this realm, so don't see any difference why you wouldn't be a reference for someone. You'd therefore be judge and jury against someone else's right, not privilege, of owning a gun. And in this state, the more people we can attract, the better. Sure if you hang with criminals (which I'm sure none of us do...) that might be different...but again that's why they have background checks. That's enough in my book.
  8. I know Hoppes is most people's preference for regular cleaning, lube, oil etc. Curious if anyone uses Tetra and if so what their thoughts are? Thx.
  9. Been there thrice. Disappointed with the service each time. If I wanted attitude I'd go to the DMV. They scored the hat trick and now they are out for me. Too bad because their location next to GFH would otherwise make it a no brainer.
  10. Took the wife to GFH last night to shoot the new Beretta Inox fs92. She's a beauty (wife's not bad either). Continue to be impressed with Anthony's place. My wife is new to shooting and naturally nervous but Ant's great demeanor and comfortable establishment settled her nerves. We had a blast. Can't wait till the rentals are avail.
  11. If you're in Charlotte make sure you go to Hyatt Gun Store. Was there two weeks ago and it was awesome. Great selection, excellent service and empathetic bout me living in New Dirty. They had a good ammo selection that was fairly priced. Couldn't deal with hassle of bringing back on plane or paying to ship. But if you're in the area it's worth a stop.
  12. I guess mine was a preemie: 3+ mos with extension for permit. NICS labor only 4 days.
  13. Today I welcomed a new addition to the family at 10:30 this morning. She's a beautiful, American born Beretta 92FS Inox. Stands at 5.4" tall and barrel is 4.9", weighs a healthy 33.3 oz. Baby and Dad are doing fine.
