  1. Consider southern vermont. Great camping, b&b's, hotel/motel/cabins all over. Beautiful mountains and really good fishing. You can LEGALLY conceal carry (no permit required)! About 4 hours drive from north jersey.
  2. Yes, nj legal! I have the .22 lr and with the bottom rail removed folds up even smaller than pictured. It is small, light very accurate and has a surprisingly good trigger for such a cheap firearm. I have not needed customer service so I can't comment on that, however it is much smaller than the henry. I beleive the henry is a 7 shot semi-auto that floats so its kinda a different category. My badger works, is very small and was cheap, FWIW!
  3. I'm glad you had good experiences! I have never been, and have been very pleased with the selection and service at RTSP, so that is what i recommend. I really like shooting there too so I doubt I'll go anywhere else.
  4. Actually no, I never even made it there because of some of the negative feedback I read here.
  5. My last purchase was a single stack 9mm. I literally walked out of two bergen county area shops due to extremely poor customer service. I ended up at RTSP and was impressed with both the selection and service I received! It is worth it to at least check them out before buying!
  6. Ottomanellis charged me $100 for the sights and install on a G19!
  7. I owned and rode the vulcan 500 for three years. It has the same engine as the ninja 500. It was fast and agile. I used it to teach a friend how to ride and then sold it to him after. I highly recommend this bike. Low maintenance, low insurance, plenty of power and very comfortable to ride. I'm not very tall or heavy so this bike fit well. Full disclosure , i ride a wide glide and wouldn't go back to it, but it is a great place to begin, learn and build confidence. Ride safe!
  8. Spyderco dyad jr. So small I don't even know its in my pocket. Two blades too!
  9. I have both the xlander and vector as well as ABC watches from casio, tissot and hamilton. I find the xlander much more comfortable to wear than the vector or g shock. The g shock is solar and never needs a battery and definately the toughest, while all the others need battery changes about every two years. The tissot t-touch (or hamilton which is discontinued) can be worn with just about anything from suits to jeans depending on which model. And look the least like an outdoor adventuring watch but still function awesome. Comfort and style are very subjective. I personally wear the xlander the most followed by the tissot.
  10. I have seen three in the last four days. Today one came within 20 feet of my dog, who was going nutz. The coyote just looked at him once and went on his way.
  11. We had a momma bear and three cubs in my neighbors yard yesterday. They wandered off and the neighborhood dogs seemed to encourage their exit.
  12. 201 family magazine has a list in their june/july issues which mentions some listed as well as: Indian lake in little ferry Ramapo lake in oakland Mill pond in park ridge Darlington park pond in ramsey (I thought it was in mahwah) Overpeck creek in teaneck
  13. There is a walmart up there that sells ammo. They don't even ask to see my fid to buy ammo anymore, although they still have a 3 box max. And they usually have most calibers except .22!
