  1. That's a good price, but I'm not eligible. Sorta like Orwell's 1984, "all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others".
  2. Meh, after what has happened in GA with the last few elections, and Kemp as governor, my bet is Willis goes scot free.
  3. I sincerely applaud your efforts, especially having little ones in the house. Since I only shoot a few hundred rounds in a (hopefully) well-ventilated range every month or so, I'm good with a thorough hand wash with the D-lead soap before leaving the range and try not to pick my nose on the drive home. I do wear latex gloves when cleaning the guns afterwards.
  4. I know it doesn't answer your question, and don't know what you are comfortable trying to do yourself, but it's actually pretty easy to do. My son had several pieces that were damaged in a storm. I picked up a vinyl siding removal tool (big name for a simple tool) at Lowe's, watched a few videos and made the repair. I'm in my late 60's and never worked with vinyl siding before.
  5. I can understand both of the above positions. I realize PDs need to prioritize their resources, but also would appreciate a quick "we got it" email. To me, it isn't a case of not trusting my PD, but not knowing if something went wrong with the transmission. I emailed scans to my department each time I qualified/requalified and received a brief "received, thanks" reply within a few hours. Fortunately, my PD has a dedicated firearms unit clerk. I did not submit a SP182a since my permit was issued by the court 1/2023, I can only carry the gun I qualified with.
  6. Maybe there's more threats now because they've spent so much time and attention doing the bidding of the Southern Poverty Law Center and the like by going after Christian pastors, traditional Catholics, Trump supporters, and white supremacists (primarily embedded FBI agents)? Um, just kidding Mr. Wray.
  7. Thanks for the comments guys. I don't hunt, but have had a hunter's license for a few years. Old guysrule649, I just picked up a .22 rifle and would like to use Colliers Mills to try it out. I made a simple target stand out of 2x4s and would like to use a small steel spinner as well. It will be my first time shooting at a WMA range.
  8. Greater Egg Harbor School District is rolling out Zero Eyes.
  9. Good afternoon, Does anyone know if spinner type steel targets are permitted using a .22 rifle at the WMAs that have centerfire/muzzleloader ranges, particularly at Collier's Mill? From what I've read on the WMA site, only paper targets are permitted but I've also heard that steel spinners are permitted using .22 only. Thanks in advance for any info.
  10. Bought ammo from him some years ago. Good guy, enjoyed talking with him.
  11. Unfortunately I have to agree with JohnnyB, those that entered, entered at their own risk. Just as those that carry are supposed to be cognizant of the restrictions.
  12. Not to be contrarian, but I believe it can be. It also may be all we have, despite the excellent work being done by our defense, because of the evident prejudices of certain judges.
  13. Same 2 anti judges and 1 2A judge, didn't Einstein say something about insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result? As well-reasoned the arguments were from our side, and as baseless the arguments from Cai and company were, I am not optimistic that the anti judges will adhere to our constitution or the bill of rights. But hope springs eternal.
  14. I wouldn't leave it in the car. Maybe check with the range and see if you could have them safely secure it for you. If so, drop it off on Friday. Either way, enjoy the weekend.
  15. I also carry a spare iwb cross draw with a pouch like those neoprene type ones.
  16. 100% correct. When I'm planning a trip that takes me through different states I use handgunlaw.us for intro info, and then use the links to each state's firearm laws to confirm. Matter of fact, planning a trip right now and avoiding Illinois at all costs.
  17. Welcome to the forum, have you picked anything up yet? And never mention crock pots or pineapple either.
  18. Might want to take a look at handgunlaw.us. With the way things change so frequently here, can't blame anyone from not having the latest/greatest nonsense going on in this state.
  19. I believe Bomber is right on the mark. Curiously, Murphy and company jumped on him right away, didn't hear a peep from the dems in 2017 when he was benefitting from his sugar daddy Dr. Melgen and cavorting with minors.
  20. Good evening David, I also requalified with Mr. Cope this Tuesday the 19th (took my original qual with him in Aug. 2022). I actually had rescheduled the week before the new qualification came out on 9/17, but Mr. Cope had the new S.P. 182 CCare form, which replaced the interim qual of 7/18, which replaced the qual prior. I'm also not on facebook and appreciate your willingness to keep us informed here on the forum. Thanks again, Ben
  21. Crossbreed holsters? No lining, but has a leather backing.
  22. I will be doing the interim to the interim soon. I have searched the NJSP website for the form I submit to the state to refund the cost of my initial course from 2022 that my PD, county judge and state deemed acceptable enough to issue my permit to carry. Can anyone be of assistance?
  23. Maybe so, as long as holster draw was included, according to the new form.
  24. Our applications were approved by our respective PDs, we were permitted to carry by our county court judges, and later (after 12/22/22) by our local PDs. Why do we have to re-qualify because Murphy/ Plankton said (to paraphrase The King and I) "let it be re-written, let it be re-done"?
