  1. Thanks, just ordered some. With the free shipping it comes to around $10 a box.
  2. That looks fantastic, but you stole my idea! Is that 4 pieces of pork roll? Except for the toast bread I am extremely jealous.
  3. This has me thinking, I'm going to try a bacon, porkroll, egg, and cheese on a round hard roll from Italian People's Bakery.
  4. Interesting, I applied less than a week after Xtors and didn't get the call for the money order until the 49th day, not sure how long after that is was sent to court but my MO was cashed 10/27.
  5. Again, there appears to be no evidence, other than a possible few (2 or 3) permits being issued in the last 4 months, that they are actually "working" on anything other than fabrications in Mercer.
  6. Hopefully, those of us that wield the tools that Judge Thomas gave us are well versed in how to use them most capably.
  7. Incredible, just more proof of unnecessary requirements to further complicate a basic right! He only moved 20 minutes from his previous township! His original card isn't even a year old. Thanks for the quick responses guys, I'll pass it on.
  8. Don't know where exactly to put this. If someone needed to make a change of address to their FID would they have to pay a fee if it's only for a new card showing the address change? It's still an NJ address, just different township. Thanks, Ben
  9. If the intent is to not issue carry permits, it makes perfect sense.
  10. So let me get this straight, GodStrength (in the 50's) calls and is told it hasn't been sent to the prosecutor, then Golf battery (76) calls and is told it's at the prosecutor, and even what number they are working on? Sounds to me that someone there is either uninformed or flat out lying, I wonder which it could be?
  11. After submitting my complete packet on 8/25, my PD called 49 days later on 10/13 telling me I could bring in my money order, which I did that day. On 10/27 USPS confirmed the money order was cashed. I know I am in for a long wait, but other than the alleged two permits, I have not seen, nor heard, any evidence of a single permit being issued. At this point, it is my equally unsubstantiated opinion that Mercer is still not issuing permits. Apparently, some county courts, as well as our governor and legislators, could care less about the SCOTUS ruling.
  12. Gentlemen, gentlemen, I love you all, but can we please focus on the OT please.
  13. Probably way less time than making a pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich. Ok CM Jeepster, typing as you posted.
  14. You have received excellent advice here. Only thing I would add is to check if the extractor claw is holding the round. To check this, remove the slide, place the rim of a round in the claw and see if it holds the round while lightly shaking the slide. The green dummy round looks as if the extractor didn't grab it, and the next dummy round pushed it more into the chamber? The extractor is relatively easy to remove to check for gunk , but that's not many rounds through it. And I would never drop a round in the chamber like you're doing, you were right the first time. Good luck and safe shooting.
  15. I remember stopping in there several years ago. Had a good amount of safes on display, prices were close to msrp. The guy didn't try to hard sell and offered free delivery since I live about 2 miles away. I have been meaning to stop back in since he had a few barely scratch and dent models at lower prices.
  16. I don't know about that, isn't a mailbox technically government property? So we used to be able to go to the mailbox, now we have to unholster and leave it on the property while we retrieve the mail? If passed, it states a thumb break is permissible, I was planning on gluing a strip of velcro with snaps attached to my current holsters so I should be good to go ( insert sarcasm doohicky here).
  17. I hope so. I also hope US district judge Suddaby's decision stands and the NY AG's temporary pause is lifted. Maybe that will give us a stronger footing. I know patience is a virtue, but this nonsense has to be straightened out in our favor quickly, I ain't getting any younger. And I'm already disturbed that the Yankees/Indians game still hasn't started.
  18. I totally agree with your sentiment nooch, but if by "post Bruen NJ judges" you mean the same group that are stonewalling the approval of carry permits and willy nilly adding unconstitutional restrictions to some of those that are approved, we're screwed.

    NICS

Not trying to be snarky, but it's a huge deal. National INSTANT Criminal background check should take 10-15 minutes tops, just like it used to be before people realized the need for self protection due to the rampant violence that was permitted (and often encouraged) across the country. Since the pandemic has abated (or never truly existed) maybe the NIC delays are due to the influx of carry permit applications that are sitting ignored by some PDs and many courts? And let's not mention the double 2 hr.+ round trips to the gun shop.
  20. I also went to PA because NJ had nothing for several weeks. In the few days leading up to my PA appointment I repeatedly tried rescheduling to NJ in the chance something opened up. No luck in finding one available. It's been exactly a month today that I submitted everything, so thinking maybe Easter?
  21. Thank you both for clarifications. Yes it's handgun ammo and none of it is of the "permitted" kind. Thought I might have to go across the river to sell. Thanks again gentlemen.
  22. Good evening, I am familiar with what is stated on the NJSP website regarding restrictions on hollow point ammo. My question is if it's permissible to sell it to an eligible person in NJ. If so, I know I would have to post it in the guns for sale section, I'm not trying to circumvent that here, so no pms please. If it is permitted to sell it, I presume it would have to be at a range? Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks in advance for any info
  23. Remember, breathe-reflect on what you're typing-and quickly review it BEFORE you hit the send key.
  24. Me too, unless in my travels I might pass some gun stores. Always on the hunt for ammo and can't buy in NJ without it.
  25. My Florida permit is the credit card type. Even with my FPID trimmed as tight as possible, it still doesn't fit well in my bifold wallet. Makes me wonder if the gnomes in the basement of 125 W. State St. in Trenton just sit around scheming on ways to inconvenience us plebeians who pay their salaries. Either that, or they want to make us more easily identifiable by our man purses we need to carry.
