  1. Let them see you open carry so it becomes "less shocking" for them and they realize that law abiding citizens are good people. Don't worry what others may think and stand tall, don't allow those with differing opinions make you feel you should slouch in shame.
  2. I open carry at my business and wave to all those who pass by with the WTF face.
  3. Any professional/semi-pro photographers in this community interested in photographing some custom gun parts. Need 8 custom coated receiver sets and handguards photographed for the website.
  4. That's not a relevant comparison. As far as firearm confidence, I have DOPE on my AR10 for clean bore shot and non. Think about this, after how many rounds do you clean your rifle at the range? If none but just when you get back home, ask yourself why? If you knew accuracy decreases after "x" rounds due to bore condition thus requiring cleaning, then you do it at that moment. If accuracy is consistent, keep going until it isn't. Lastly, I never shoot junk/garbage ammo.
  5. Clean your rifle when it accuracy decreases, until then, it's fine.
  6. New Holland is a great range. Good crew of PRS guys shoot there.
  7. I use Duluth Fire Hose Flex pants for every day work and range activity. Plenty of pockets to access easily as I carry/holster, decent stretch, tough material, and a great warranty. If you wait for the holidays, you can get them 20% off as well.
  8. Arm or Ally will ship a Faxon BCG to you and the warehouse is located in NJ.
  9. Looks like the 15 round mags fall into the large capacity magazine law 13:54-5.5 and would prohibit sales to any private consumer.
  10. 13:54-5.5 Large capacity magazines for those who want to see how it would apply
  11. Kansas City is an interesting area to live and work. Take your pick between Kansas and Missouri. Downtown Kansas City has plenty to eat (Beef!), affordable housing, good suburbs, etc...
  12. Better yet, become familiar with "red, green, or blue" in the gun world. That is where the smart planners continue to quietly tuck away.
  13. Manufacturers, distributors, and leveraged retailers will quickly learn that "he who has the gold makes the rules". You would see a massive consolidation and long term price spike in the industry.
  14. Thank you, I did it myself with Aervoe spray paint, home made stencils, and Bulldog adhesion promoter on the plastics. It's my version of a multi-cam/old school woodland camo. It's actually more durable than most would believe and one of buddies can attest to it (he's dropped my rifle twice on the ground, lol).
  15. If more judges follow this type of logic of "copycatting a military weapon" to base their ruling, then the industry will pivot. Think of how far the AR platform has come in just the last 5 years. If forced, this same industry comprised of talented designers, machinists, engineers, etc... will come up with a new and unique platform. At first it will be a few different designs/platforms and like most everything else, a critical mass will latch on to one and the industry will follow suit. Mil-spec is not the best but a trusted standard.........for now. Look at Desert Tech's MDR. They are on the right path and applaud them. Yes it's easy for the current industry to just follow the trend and tweak here and there. However, there will be a major pivot with the civilian owned semi auto rifle and it will be better than today's version.
