  1. Range 14 is fairly close to you, and last time I bought 1 year pass, the cost was only $60. You do have to pay for the actual rental time but it is pretty cheap. They dont care what you shoot as long as you handle it safely. Only caveat is that you have to be an NRA member.
  2. The T-mob call screen feature seems to help, but to enable it, you agree to a 30 day trial. we shall see what they charge next month. Its like paying the mailman to put the envelope in the mailbox.
  3. This was my cell. I pick up because I do IT contracting under my own corp. Some jobs come via email contact and some via calls. The number is on all the job boards. Get a good number of leads that way. Otherwise I would change my number every year (t-mob allows onefree one per year)
  4. I did low carb after eating a sub and fries for every lunch and crept up near 265lbs. I spent about 2 months eating my new fav lunch of a pound of tuna and egg salads from the deli nearby, and also about 20 minutes a day on an elliptical. Dropped down to about 210 very quickly, but my kidneys began to ache all day. Didn't feel like keeping going was a good idea. Now I remain around 190 to 200 evenly over the past few years. Just eating smaller portions. Lunch was tough because most food options around an office environment are heavy on carbs and salads aren't my thing.
  5. I picked 2 boxes of 50 rounds for about $45 at Cheyenne a few weeks ago.
  6. How many rounds in that box? I assume 100 but can't tell for sure.
  7. I started getting calls from this guy who claims to pay top dollar in cash to current homeowners interested in selling. I heard that the market is surging as many new Yorkers are getting out of Dodge, so I was curious to see what this guy had in mind. I am not interested in selling, but if someone tosses me a number I can't refuse, I would listen. I am near the train and bus routes to NY and Philly, so it might be reasonable to assume a premium could be on offer if a family wants to move out of Gotham quickly. So the asks me a few questions like what has been upgraded in the last 3 years, etc. Then he asks what the condition is the house in, generally. A simple google map search would show clearly the front at least, but anyway... Then we get into the 'play coy' game of "what do you want for the house?" I said you called me, make me your best offer. He replies that he pays based on area comps. I know what the comps are based on recent sales of the same model. So he refuses to spit out even a ballpark so I am thinking I am not actively selling, so if all he will offer is the same range that any MLS listing would go for, what is the point of all that hassle? Plus he would have to build in his profit, so no way he will hit the comp level. I suppose saving a realtor commission would be something, but still... So instead of playing the game, I tell him I'm not interested and hang up. He calls me back every other day to ask if I changed my mind. It's as if I own the only house in NJ and 40,000 buyers are clamoring to pay 2x market value, no strings, all cash. Uh, no. Weird business there.
  8. I once had to teach a training class for 2 weeks at one of his companies in Mumbai. The "campus" is huge, with a 70 foot tall picture of the father on one of the main buildings. I saw the house from my taxi but thought it was just another office tower. Felt bad for the employees though. After my 9 hour class each day, mon to sat, they had to go to their offices and do their jobs for another 9 hours. No free time at all. But the employees will do anything just to get that reference on their resumes. The house really is situated in the middle of the slums where people simply poop on the side of the road when nature calls. I was stuck in traffic my first day and was treated to the sight of an old lady hiking up her sari and dumping right there next to my car, then starts walking as if nothing ever happened (and no toilet paper on her person)
  9. Lawn tractor lift - one axle at a time, for any traditional tractor (not the wide zero turn, but it might handle those). Asking $100 obo. pickup or can drop off within reason. Bought from another member but never really needed it for my 42" tractor. I need the space in my garage. Would trade for .270 Winchester as well.
  10. I know its a huge longshot, but thought I would try....
  11. Where from? I want to get the mount too.
  12. I still have 2 years to go on the grand cherokee, so by then things should be more settled.
  13. I was just reading up on this last week. I like the looks and the power options mentioned so far. Prices at list do jump quite a bit though when you go for the 4-door. Also, the option menu is said to be massive, which would throw me in a state of brain freeze trying to decide. Luckily, there are already YT vids of what to get and what is a waste of money. Sort of an Idiots Guide to Bronco Options.
  14. My neighbor down a few houses had their Honda get squashed in half by a large tree. I mean squashed down to the pavement like an Abrams tank rolled over the top.

My kid still has her Jetta for sale: https://www.njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/search/&q=jetta&search_and_or=or Need new brake pads and some paint scuffs repaired (which I was thinking of getting the shop to respray it). Gets great mileage although it isn't a hauler like a small SUV. Still fits a lot of stuff. Also has Weathertec mats back and front. She bought a newer Mazda 3 from Hertz in Hawaii, had it shipped by boat to LA and then took a roadtrip from there to here. I wouldn't have advised going that route, but it had no issues cross-country and looks brand new for a former rental. I'm afraid to ask what she paid, but she has no use for 2 cars and the Jetta just takes up space in my driveway. I think she was asking too much last year and probably would be much more reasonable now. For instance, she refused to include the mats until I explained that they are custom cut for a 2014 Jetta and would not fit any other vehicle quite the same (except another Jetta close to the model year)
  17. The addy was rejected by PP
  18. I have both...a real upright and a fancy keyboard. Neither of which anyone has touched in years. Im sure the upright needs a tune, but the keyboard is all electronic. Price = zero. But in all honesty, the upright would need a couple of guys to lift it out.
  19. How so? Are you saying Mal will attempt a home invasion? I left my Deere tractor out front with the key in it. He will approach, see the tractor, then attempt to cut the front lawn. Nobody can resist.
  20. I don't like the growing practice of potential employers snooping around social media to try to find dirt on you. for that reason alone, I would never put anything on my page. Then there is the idea of helping out the freak Zuckerboy. It did come in handy some years ago when all of the regulars on another forum abandoned that forum after one of the mods decided he owned the place (self-appointed absolute ruler). We had a place to gather temporarily until a new forum was established, thanks to one member who had the resources to host it free of charge. So my page is still out there but devoid of anything at all.

  22. How do you have palm trees in Vernon?? Even Martels at the beach supposedly has them trucked in each summer.
