So i finally got to take "Krystal", my Umbrella Corp. build to the range yesterday. Robs609 and my self helped Firearms Training Sepulveda Firearms Training film some instructional videos at Shooters last night. While Robs609 got to shoot her more than i did, i was able to pop off a few rounds and give a quick test to the Umbrella Corp BCG and SSA trigger i installed yesterday. Rob, Kharis and myself agree... the SSA Trigger is where it's at! So much smoother and tighter than the Spikes Battle Trigger i had in there before. shot about 50 rounds w/no FTF or FTE with the new Umbrella BCG. More info on that after i get some more trigger time on her. anyway, here are a few photos and vids from yesterday.. check out that muzzle flash! lol Thanks to ROBS609 for being our designated shooter for the videos. anyway, thought we would share!

So I helped a friend install a Geissele SSA trigger a week or two ago and was liking the feel of it. I was able to pop off a few rounds using another friends AR last week and I must say, I fell in love with it. I was able to work out a trade with a forum member and scored one for myself! Gonna install it in my Umbrella rifle tomorrow and move the spikes battle trigger to one if my calico jack builds that are in progress. Can't wait to try it out Wenesday night at Shooters!

Update: The count is up to 4 ( 5 including me) and there are 3 people who are letting me know this week.

Man I could go for some good BBQ right about now. While not the best i may have to make a trek to Big Eds soon.

That sucks a friend had a neighbors tree fall across their yard and hit the entire from of the house. Took 3 months for things to get settled. Ended up paying out of their own pocket for repairs.

So I finally got my hands on a Calico Jack Spikes lower and will be sourcing parts for a new build. I ordered a spikes Billet upper today and am now trying to figure out if I want to do a black and FDE build, full fde build or build it black and have a custom cerakote job in USMC Marpat. Right now I'm thinking for a parts list the following Spikes calico jack lower Spikes Billet upper Spikes NiBx BCG Spikes buffer and buffer tube set Fortis rail system rifle length. Spikes enhanced lpk kit Umbrella corp grip 23 Raptor charging Handel Spikes dynacomp Spikes 14.5" mid length barrel - was considering a 16" but still am not sure... Maybe it's a bipod on this one and make it a dedicated "distance shooter" if I go with a longer barrel Optics... Not sure. What say yoos guys.

According to various sources (lawers, cops, and various FFL's) all indicate and agree that the law indicates only the COLT AR15 is banned by name. However the law indicates Any firearm that is Similar to a banned weapon would also be considered illegal. Based on the LoOSE terms of the word "similar" any AR style rifle could be deemed illegal if the mood struck the cop or ATF agent right.

Why not just build a second rifle the way you want it. If you shop right you can build a MILspec 14.5" AR for 750+/- with quality parts and it'll have the features you want the way you want.

Their stuff usually sells put quick. If you are on notifications you'll get an email when stuff is available. Order right away. I've seen lowers sell out in an hour uppers take a little longer to sell out but not much last very long at all.

I'm not sure if anyone would also be interested in these rail covers with whatever logo we decide to go with on it. I got one for my Umbrella Rifle and it came out awesome. sorry about the bad photos.. took them real quick with my iphone. Cost is around $ $22 ea for 15 or more and about $18ea for 100 or more
