  1. So I have that Serbian Tokarev type thing that I absolutely love. It eats ball ammo like no tomorrow it shoots great it feels great in my hand. Not really a fan of any of the hollow-points I've tried to feed it yet. That being said I've only tried HST and gold dot Which I believe I had 124 on hand I'm sitting in the parking lot of the range thinking about this so I'll confirm that weight when I get home. So the answer that I actually need in this case is just keep trying them until you find what the gun likes and that's my plan, however I think one of the problems is the 1911 type feed ramp in this thing, so I was wondering if before I start trying everything under this song If You 1911 guys might say hey this works and something that didn't want to feed anything else for a couple of suggestions out there.
  2. this looks like fun, for sub 300 id be in to give it a go. drop in 22lr for stamed rifles this traditions arrow fireing muzzleoader looks like fun
  3. its a commie thing. the long story short was RO with a hardon and a low seemingly IQ, but he needed like every other ro to stand behind him arms crossed and smiling. alot of attention to ignore every other port in the place, ya know
  4. Can you do your best to do 2 things? 1)actually fight for 2a in NJ 2)try and fix the NRA to help us as a whole it is my understanding that those are both yes answers, which means you have my support, but please dont move to a 2a freindly state and extort us for money. not that i am at all insinuating YOU would, but i am taking my dig at what we have seen.
  5. Serious answer: required, on a state or federal level absolutely not. they let every idiot that can stand in a line drive a car. however i am not oposed to the range making sure the "fudd/tryhard/tacticool/whatever" here next to me dosnt shoot me. had a buddys g/f point a loaded ar at my head while fanning about 12-15 others.... id rather not have it happen unless were in a 2way range kinda world stood next to a guy with a rented Deagle who was gonna hurt someone. ro intervened. had a series of situations ignored because of yoga pants being in the range at the time have had every staff members attention on me as we debate the merits of impure copper. (you dont want me to shoot it, fine, your place your rules, but dont talk down to me. i seldom admit to what i do know, dont beat me with your ignorance.) i have had my target shot once, upper right corner of a full sized paper target. guy who shot it was a "veteran officer" who "took the new rookie" out to "show him how its done" had a black 90s swat vest and what can best be described as a tactical fanny pack. theres idiots everywhere.
  6. i am so glad that @nondisclosureand @Zeke might actually know what im talking about. that makes me happy.
  7. id consider cell phones, nav, and all the other shit ive seen people do, reading a book (yes a book, like a novel) newspaper, putting on makeup, etc plus drinking, to be way more hazardous then someone whos stoned. if theyre to stoned to drive odds are theyre stuck on a couch gigleing some where.
  8. Wayne lapierre to remove his mask and reveil himself to be the diane fenstein wanna be lizard man all the while yelling "cobra-la-la-la-la"
  9. Im a "modelmaker" for an electronics company. Im in their R&D shop, but take what they do in cad, fix it, and make the prototypes. a weird skill set i know but im asumming im outside the scope of what you are looking for.
  10. been running a goldenrod in my cabinet since i got it. spend so much time trying to raise the humidity in my house, and year round trying to remove it from the cabinet. have a whole house humidifyer in the furnace, and dehumidifyer in the basement, and the goldenrod in the safe.
  11. wow. what happend here... this thread has turned... well "special", yea we will go with that. .22LR is the best caliber to practice the fundamentals of marksmanship etc. that being said, im with some of the others, i fn hate shooting it. i keep getting out of .22, and i know another one is in my future, because when it comes time to teach the fundimentals of shooting with the boys, 22LR. I have spent hours pinking with a .22, and if i could walk out of my house and shoot, i would plink alot more with .22, and i wish i could, but no, for the limited amount that i get to shoot now a days i really dont want to spend it with a 22. I should but i dont. I spend as much time as i can with my go to weapons platforms, then get my hands on anything i can to shoot for familiarity. Everyone has a different path, maybe we'd have bigger numbers if well threads didnt go like this. and im guilty of it too at times, dont get me wrong. and if we really want to go debating the lethality of .22 it all comes down to 3things SHOT PLACEMENT SHOT PLACEMENT and SHOT PLACEMENT. you can kill someone with .22 and you can fail at shooting yourself with 22 (i read a thing by former sabers goaltender Clint Malarchuk the other day, has his failed attempt on my mind) , just depends on where it goes
  12. credit where credits due, bravo. best birdbox meme ive seen yet you may irritate the hell out of me, but i can still laugh with you.
  13. replace the extractor for finish wear? no you need to run a few courses or matches with it, get some good holster wear on it! thatll make it prettier! seriously, wear tells a story but i also think BFPU is cool, but being used hard enough to look like that by you is cooler
  14. a rock beats the vska. one of the worst ones so far im having a hard time with the PSA thing on the AKs with how the gen1 and 2 went. I did look hard at getting one when they first came out, ran into the same no ship thing.
  15. Im quit for about 8 years now. quit because of expense primarily
  16. shoot untill it burns off.... we can all help pull the trigger... till be fun.... if it dosnt burn off.... still fun! seriously though, there is a chance if its synthetic carpet that its just melted to the surface and may be brittle like melted plastic. razorblade or exact o may be able to lift pieces without much if any finish damage. if not then it may be wire wheel time. i have way to much experience removing various melted things from peoples exhausts, but never where ive had to worry about finish
  17. never want to have to lie, bring 2 rifle cases everywhere, one full and one empty my answers to this thing are in a far smaller number then i though although the last one went from "can i buy another ak," to "guess who just bought another ak" i mean i know shes gonna whine anyway, and aks are life
  18. just went from hoping she croaks to actively wishing she croaks
  19. seriously ill stop saying its a trap when women stop going psycho once the engagement ring is on, then ramping it up with the destruction of any joy for their husbands when the wedding ring is on.
  20. great. and they wonder why they get like 2 votes for column 3 everytime
  21. the new people need to be less douchey!
