I'm looking to pick up either a p01 or a PCR, I'm guessing from the comments above that you guys would consider both a good choice. It seems like the only real difference between the two is the rail, it that true? Also, I've seen comments elsewhere that the trigger isn't so great, what's your opinions on both guns?

I own the Beretta M9A1, love it. Must be 700 or 800 rounds through it and never a single problem of any kind. Shoots great, looks great, easy to clean. I don't own a Sig but the local PD has them for duty guns and the guys I've spoken with have no complaints with them. I'm pretty sure the Beretta is a couple hundred less expensive that the Sig is going to be, so for me that could be a deciding factor but like you said can't go wrong with either.

Yes, size 20 is what I got. You have to loosen those screws up quite a bit from the way it ships, but like I said it worked pretty well here at home. Obviously, or maybe not, I didn't have any lights or anything attached to the rail while trying the holster.

I had one take up housekeeping under the cement pad for my A/C unit this past summer. I used a have a heart trap baited with a peach, about 2 hours later the little bugger was mine. I drove him a good 10 miles away and turned him loose. 10 miles might be over kill, but If you don't take them far enough away they will come back.

I picked this one up to use for competition, although I haven't used it for that purpose yet, but trying it out at home it seems to work pretty well. There are two screws that you use to adjust the tension. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K4ZZGU/ref=oh_details_o01_s02_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

FINALLY the NRA is stepping in and helping
Zack replied to notmetoo's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
It looks like Wyoming along with Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota and West Virginia are looking to ask the Supreme Court to grant a hearing to John M. Drake and others who are challenging a recent appeals court ruling. They are all worried if the ruling stands it may be used to roll back some of their rights. Maybe we'll have a shot there, doesn't seem like much hope in state courts. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/02/13/1-states-join-legal-fight-against-new-jersey-concealed-weapons-law/?intcmp=latestnews -
I've had good luck with TrendNet. I just replace one that was about 4 years old with a new 450 MBPS version. I have to deal with a number of customer VPNs including Juniper and I've had no trouble with any of them. Set up was simple. It works well with the BluRay too.

These guys aren't forum members but they installed my Generac generator and they are authorized dealers. They are in Colts Neck but I know they also go out to Staten Island, so North Jersey may not be out of the question. P.E.E.C Electric 732.863.5533

I'm pretty sure NJKen is. Seems to me that came up in one of the generator threads: http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/topic/60452-generac-stanby-generator/page-2

I had a 14kw Generac installed back in the spring. It's popped on twice for a couple of minutes for short back outs besides the weekly maintenance. I don't think it's much louder than a lawn mower so I just leave it on auto all the time. JCP&L checked the meter for me and they told me I didn't need a change. A good friend of mine had a 20k installed before Irene. It ran for about a week during that storm and another 2 weeks after Sandy. He's had no trouble and swears by it.

It's all personal preference of course but lately I've been buying LA GLORIA CUBANA in MADURO

I got a hearing test as part of my annual physical. The Doc asked me if I was having trouble hearing because the test results showed some hearing loss. Then I asked him about the ringing in my ears. He told me the ringing was a result of the hearing loss and there really was nothing that could be done about the ringing. So if my Doc is right and you already have some ringing then you probably already have some hearing loss. An audiologist would be the way to get more details.

I've put about a thousand rounds from them through my Beretta never any problem. -
Best places online to buy ammo...
Zack replied to Minimalist's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
Freedom Munitions has some now, this would be re-manufactured but they often have new as well. I've gotten a bunch of 9mm from them, never a problem with it. Since I only use 9mm I don't know if this is a good price or not, but for what it's worth: 45 Auto 230 gr. RN Box of 500 UPC: 819304310940 $190.54 -
I picked one of those up just this June, it's a great gun. I couldn't find one locally either. I finally found one online at impactguns.com. If you can find one online at a price you like, my suggestion would be to grab it.

No, I found it and voted. It's still holding 95%

If you're desperate enough Amazon has it. $49.99 though Schweppes Raspberry Ginger Ale 2 Liter Pack of 6 http://www.amazon.com/Schweppes-Raspberry-Ginger-Liter-Pack/dp/B00DPVN5XA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373915651&sr=8-1&keywords=schweppes+Raspberry+Ginger+Ale

I bought a Beretta M9A1 back in May, they are great guns but I had the same question/problem that you are describing, I loved shooting the 9mm but the cost added up quick I thought about the conversion kits but it seemed like as many people who liked them complained that they jammed constantly. I didn't really want to spend $900 or so and end up regretting it, so I finally bought a Buckmark. I've put about 500 rounds through it with no jams or trouble at all. It was a great choice for me.

took me less than 5 minutes last night....vs 20 days back in May.

Lanigan associates in Tinton falls got a few Berettas in around mid May. I picked up an M9A1, he may still have one or two.
