  1. FYI - You live in NJ which means you have no rights. Aside from that, welcome and now wait for the license and permit.
  2. Hoboken PD never called my references, the only sent them a 3-4 letter questionaire and asked for a little bit of their personal info(address which they already had, employer, etc). Hoboken PD turned my FID and P2P around in less than 2 months.
  3. Lawyers are just going to threaten lawsuits that will never happen. If you were dealing with a local PD, you may have luck with that. You're dealing with the state directly..they'll move at their own pace and the only thing you can do is politely ask them for updates.
  4. Hiring attorney is going to get you nothing but wasted money and a pissed off police barracks.
  5. Try to "plead by mail". Cite your distance from the courthouse, your clean record overall good standing as a citizen and ask them to consider this with your guilty plead. They may change the citation to a parking ticket or something.
  6. i5-3570k ASUS Radeon HD 7850 16GB Corsair 256GB Crucial M4 SSD 2.8TB Raid 5 ~600 Power Supply Antec Case I used to play DayZ, TF2, Rage, L4D and others. Now i'm all about FC3.
  7. Morpho is the state's fingerprint place. Either do it, or move to a different state and buy a firearm. This process warrants full disclosure, if you're not ready to give that then you're going to be hard pressed to get your FID and P2P, assuming you want a pistol. Why are you trying to avoid putting information in?
  8. I try to keep it slim. Sitting on a huge wallet while riding a harley..sucks. =)
  9. Yes, here are a few shots. I now put my card behind my drivers license and it fits fine.
  10. Juvenile records can potentially come into play when you're applying for stuff like this. What was the other misdemeanor for? if you're convicted of anything, it's pretty much a discretionary NOPE from your local Chief if he wants to be a jerk. You had 30 days to apply. and now you have a rejection on your record. Your best bet is to: Look into expunging both charges(not sure how the juvenile charge works). Once that process is started and complete, lawyer up and apply again. Provide all of the paperwork showing the expungement. OR - Move out of NJ, get PA residency and buy your toys there. Move back. Good luck.
  11. it's difficult to tell a VET and an active LEO to stfu. That guy has brass balls.

    It's terrible.
  13. I used an MD and an FL reference. No issues from Hoboken PD. That township is bs'ing you.
  14. Dropped app off on 5/7, fingerprinted on 5/14. FID/P2P ready as of 7/11. Picking up today.
