  1. I'm sorry I don't follow your logic. You're admitting the Dillon is an upgrade over the LnL, yet you'd get a LnL again? It seems circular to me.
  2. I'm just curious if you liked the Hornay press, why get a 1050?
  3. Before you go down the red rabbit hole, compare against Dillon's offerings. I've had presses from most of the major manufacturers (Lee, Hornady, Dillon, RBCS). I would never buy another press that's not blue again. I used to fiddle with my LnL every single reloading session trying to get it work correctly, with the 650, I just slap the hoolhead in and I'm ready to load. I know the LnL seems cheap compared to the 650, but if you add the casefeeder which comes standard on the 650, it's fairly close. If the price of the 650 is too high, take a look at the 550 or the SBD - both are great presses. Plus the Dillons hold resale WAY BETTER than the Hornady presses. You can find plenty used for 80% of new. I had to practically give my Hornady LnL away (I think I sold it for $350 w/ the case feeder). Just do the research before settling on a Hornady.
  4. Penny wise, pound foolish. A $600 Weber will outlast the 3 grills you buy every 2-3 years.
  5. I emailed them to see if they'll price match that price. I bought mine last week for $58 more.
  6. Shongum has over a year waiting list as of right now.... When's the next ontelaunee 3gun? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Looking for some match to shoot next weekend. Anything going on?
  8. I still have some fire sticks for sale. $70 and it's plug and play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Not sure why you mentioned that it's not being run out of your house. You're allowed to run a business out of your house. Even a FFL. Assuming your town permits business (period) to be run out of your house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Numbers 3/4, although true, piss me off. Just because someone makes money doesn't mean they want to part with more of it than someone else. Most home renovation work is a commodity product and going with the low cost provider isn't the end of the world. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. On that holster front, Howard what are you using for production? I'm going to order one of these bad boys...
  12. This is also on my shortlist. Howard - what did you do to it for production? Any mods? As an aside, even without knowing RTSP's price on it, I can confidently say that you can find it much cheaper online. There's also an active rebate on Walther guns right now, so this can be had pretty cheaply.
  13. Nvm, went straight to source - it's cancelled this weekend since they're shooting Topton.
  14. I'm trying to sign up for EFGA for this Saturday, but it's not on shootnscoreit.com. Anyone know if they're having a match?
  15. Its Lyme, not Lymes...
  16. If I'm the homeowner, I'm thankful it ended the way it did. But I'm thinking about how to move right away. Problem is that his home value just took a giant nosedive....
  17. I've used him as well. Did great work and turn around time was fantastic.
  18. If all you care about is turning off the light, you can use a spark plug non fouler as mentioned above or they sell a specialized plug that backs out the o2 sensor enough so it doesn't trip the code. 6 years seems like an awfully short lifespan for a cat though. Unless you were running incredibly rich the whole time, I'm not convinced your cat is actually dead. 19. Anything that contains permetherin, spray on your clothes and shoes. Can buy some in bulk and make your own spray.
  20. Gut reaction is since your buddy isn't a ffl holder, the rifle would have to go through the buyers ffl. Maybe someone else can chime in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. You can rent a pump and manifold gauges at autozone.
  22. So is the 17l standard production now? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. What's your risk profile? Can you tolerate volatility in your portfolio? Do you have any other sources of income in retirement besides this money? Asking rhetorically. If you can tolerate risk and have a back up plan, be more aggressive. If not, most FA's would probably suggest a 70/30 approach and start scaling that back to be more fixed income vs equity.
  24. Variation from case weight and bullet weight would make that impossible to tell from weight of finished cartridge. I would think a system like a hornady powder cop wired to some electronic alert would alleviate those issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
