  1. Not really that exciting. Just a bunch of stupid stuff when I was younger. Playing with my grandpa's reloading equipment before I ever knew what I was doing, got a live round stuck in a sizing die. So I figured only way to unstick it would be to knock it out with a dowel. I will say that it takes A LOT of banging to get that primer to go off. But it was LOUD. Definitely a lesson learned. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  2. What game/division were you shooting a 45 with 10 rounders? Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  3. I've had one go off in a vice, still didn't travel far. Pretty hot 223 load too. Made a hell of a noise though. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  4. Yes. Just a pain to drill through. Need cobalt bits.
  5. My manhole is above ground and it's a pain in my ass. I've hit it with my ride on mower and moved the cover several times. On top of that, the masonry around it is cracking. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  6. The issue here is you're asking someone to "pick through and take the good stuff", you're essentially asking them to do the work for you. Then pay you for the privilege. People who buy brass will typically want it sorted to be that 1 specific caliber they're looking for. If it's mixed calibers and a lot isn't usable, you're looking at scrap pricing. If you take the time to sort it, here are some rough estimates for common calibers: 9mm - 2-3c per piece 223 - 5-6c per 40 - 2-3c per 45 - 4-5c per You find what the current pricing is by looking at sites like castboolits and brian enos and seeing what brass sales are going for on there.
  7. I've used pipe cleaners, but usually I'll just take carburetor cleaner and just spray it down the tube. It's just a metal tube after all...
  8. Bob that's not true anymore. Itar affects domestic component manufacturing also. So its not just about exporting anymore. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  9. Its really interesting what vz is doing. They're issuing ABS backed by these phone payments. So they're monetizing the phones and offloading the risk to investors. Plus they no longer have to subsidize the phones and they get to do it without using their balance sheet. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  10. I went through the same thing a few months ago. Ended up using a drill bit as a punch Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  11. For any spring, that's not true. Springs like to return to their heat treated form. By repeated cycling, they lose that ability. It's not the compression or expansion, rather the cycling between the 2.
  12. Definitely a viable option. I've priced a few out. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  13. I tried these with my blower and broke 2 sets before I realized they don't work. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  14. Time to upgrade Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  15. Wonder if they'll at least provide credit monitoring. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  16. Oh my amex was compromised. Now it all makes sense. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  17. I go up on the roof w/ a leaf blower once every few months to clean them out.
  18. Yep. I'm planning 3 on belt and maybe one in a pocket Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  19. Did anyone in Morris County order a few extras (2) that they're willing to part with. I only need 2 of them but shipping most places kills it.
  20. There's a difference between slow response from NICs and a delayed answer. I believe the latter means they're looking further into the case. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
