If you use a leather holster, I would recommend getting the mouth reinforced. That will prevent the leather from folding over and potentially causing an AD when holstering. Also, the holster that the guy, who had the AD, was using is garbage.

I have a Beltman and A&G custom belt and feel that the latter is made better. The A&G has nicer leather, stitching, burnishing, etc... I also opted for the internal stiffener which definitely helps prevent the leather from sagging. He also offers 10% active military/1st responder discount.

For all you people who would convict this guy for violating an unconstitutional law, you are no better than the politicians who created these laws. It really shows you how far this country has fallen where people who experience injustice would wish ill will on a fellow citizen who is experiencing the same injustice. We all still have the freedom to do what is right and that is something no one can take away from you.

It's always better to carry a bigger gun with more rounds. It's just been my experience, from interacting with hundreds of people, that most people will carry more often if the gun is comfortable and concealable. I carry a 229 concealed everyday, for up to 12 hours for work, so it is doable. But, if i have to run out to the corner store in the middle of the night while I'm in sweatpants, I'm a lot more inclined to throw the shield in a pocket holster then to get changed and strap up with a bigger gun. You also have to consider your mode of carry. If you do strong side, size and weight is less of a factor than if you carry aiwb, where the gun can dig into you especially when bending over. Having a small thin gun is especially helpful if you are outside in the hot and humid summer. Ultimately, every person has different criteria with the kind of gun they are willing to carry. You are going to have to balance, size, weight, shootablilty, capacity, comfort, etc... Just make sure it is something you will carry all of the time.

Iv'e gone to Cheyenne's a few times over the years and am always disappointed with their poor customer service. Even if they are empty, they will never acknowledge you, and if you ask them a question, they act like they are bothered by you. Their prices are high and you can't read any of the price tags. I have to say, most of the LGS in NJ have high prices and poor customer service. I only buy and transfer guns through one of the sponsored FFL's on the forum. I would love to support a local shop, but not one that treats you like an annoyance.

I carry a shield every time I leave the house (leo). It's not too uncomfortable, but I might switch to the 43 because it is a few oz lighter and the grip is a tad shorter. Every oz and inch count when you carry everywhere you go, especially if you are active. I love when guys say they want to carry a big high capacity gun and then rarely carry off duty. God bless you if you can carry a bigger gun 100% of the time.

Go for the BCM with KMR hand guard. You won't be disappointed.

I wear mine in a cook aiwb kydex holster. It uses one synthetic loop with a one-way snap. Very easy to put on and take off. One thing I've learned from carrying everywhere and everyday is that the bigger and more difficult the gun and holster is, the greater chance of not carrying.

This would make a good truck/trunk gun. I only wish they chose a muzzle brake with less side concussive blast.

Isn't the length of pull pretty long on the tavor? How does it compare to an ar-15?

I've read that it is pretty nose heavy, but it's nice knowing that you can use the arak as a hammer and it will still keep working. It definitely won't replace my bcm elw kmr, but it's a nice addition to any collection.

I'm probably going to buy the arak 21 soon. It seems like a very well designed and durable system. It's been out for a few years now, so all of the bugs seem to be fixed.

Both brakes appear to recoil the same. I believe the host noticed it and that is why he only fires the uber brake gun twice off his shoulder vs 6 times with the the poly brake. The rest of his shots were shouldered.

The Windham Weaponry complaint AR has one hole on the bottom of the buffer tube that the stock screws into. Does the stock still need to be pinned even though there is no way to collapse it?

I'm also looking at getting the S&W compact or SR22. Does anyone know if the S&W is more picky on bulk ammo than the ruger?

I'm a big fan of the WW wood version ar-15. It has the utilitarian advantages of the ar platform along with being more visually appealing for poeplele who don't want a black rifle.

They also had mini-mag hp 100ct for $8.99. They were trying to push the 300ct on me when the 100ct was cheaper per round.

I bought a revolver from Lawmen a couple of weeks ago, and they didn't ask me for any first responder identification. They definitely cater to law enforcement with what they sell, but they were friendly and helpful.

I love my rossi 92 .357mag. with a 16in barrel. It is light, compact, soft shooting and is reliable with 38 and 357. Just don't think it's going to be a collectors piece. I think I paid a little over $400 for mine.

Anyone have any experience with these mags? They're selling for $12 on Widener's. As long as they're of good quality, I plan on picking up some. It's nice that you can take them apart for cleaning.
