Howi started following Sending optics in the mail illegal?! and Is it legal to make your own lowers in NJ?
-
I know its kind of a dead topic, sorry for bumping it. Okay i am from nj but am currently stationed in cali, here it is legal to get an 80% lower machined into a complete lower as long as you do the work your self. Long story short is it legal for me to bring the firearm into nj when i get out of the military. (Everything about the firearm is 100% NJ legal - just no serial numbers)

I am almost 100% positive this woman at the ups store just had no idea and thought this RDS would somehow kill her, but regardless it got turned away. My family back home was trying to mail my aim point pro out to me from nj and the woman working the desk turned them away saying it is illegal to ship parts of firearms out of nj with out a gov id. Whether this is true or false I was wondering if there is any legislation that I can have them show her? Thanks! Really just want to know if its true?

Hi I know many stores give discount, but I was wondering if anyone knows the actual discount prices or percentages for some specific stores, thanks. Also looking for a 1720.

Agreed its actually how we were taught to do it. The weapon is a tool not a priceless painting. Drives me crazy when people get upset about a few scrapes.

Yep, and with any luck a civilian in a year lol

Honestly in not looking for tight groups at 50 yards, just rounds on target in a SD scenario. And I can center ass without the use of optics at 25 all day quickly and 50 as well just a little longer. But how fast is the target acquisition at say 75-100 with the PRO? Sorry for all the questions, I've never used a RDS or magnifier. Only acog

How are they in the 300-500 ranges with the magnifier? Still curious on if it can take a bump or two. Thanks a lot.

First off I understand its a frequent topic, but no need for the comment. Second why would you take that over the acog? Do u have personal experience, if so can it take a few bumps and smacks and how well does it hold a group? Thanks!

So for the most part I'm finished with my first ar. I'm still struggling with what optic to put on it. I am a good shot with iron sights out to 500 and went with the a2 upper and flip rear so I would always have that option. That being said I'd like to be spoiled and get an optic with a little magnification. I'm used to the trijicon rco with a chevron, but at 1100-1300 dollars I'm open for suggestions lol. I was also looking at eo tech holo sight with a magnifier, but seeing as I have never used one its lost on me. (I know they can be equally expensive, but I'm not so much worried about price as I am quality and applicability) Some key points: -target acquisition. Short and long -durability (not gonna treat this rifle like a new born) -how well it holds a zero -if talking about optics using batteries please at least estimate battery life Thanks for any suggestions or input/personal experience -Jim

I personally would go with 16" you gonna easily get those ranges with either. Since your looking for a kit go with that but if not, shop around and find a14.5 upper with a nj compliant muzzle break/compensator.

Looks great! Excited to come home now!
